And by performed, we mean sucked big time!
Not only did Vanessa Paradis totally lipsynch her song, but she meandered around the stage so lethargically it practically put us to sleep.

In fact she did it ON PUROPSE to show that contrary to the other singers who attended the show such as Celine Dion(who lipsynched),Vanessa is not a liar she doesn't think her audience is dumb and wanted to show that she is honest with them.This performence was a PROVOCATION.
You can't compare her to Britney Vanessa is a great entertainer and never lipsynch during her concerts.

That was WORSE than Britney, actually. At least Britney had dancers on the stage that could distract us a bit from her lack of energy. And though she didn't do much, Britney even had better basic moves than Vanessa. Forget when she's just walking around; when Vanessa is writhing around while standing still, she looks like a drunk on karaoke night.
The performance is shit, but I actually kinda like the song haha.

I actually like this song, but ya her performance wasn't great. But if you can't dance or sing live what are you supposed to do? NRJ shouldn't have let her perform because clearly nothing was planned except for Vanessa to prance around the stage twirling around. Hey…at least Brit had a dance routing planned. Also, she's not his wife. But they're not really 'dating' either seeing as they have children together. She's kinda pretty, but just needs her teeth done.

The song is more subdued than say what a Britney Spears would sing. Weird though without a mic, she looks like a model lip syncing in a video. BTW, I think she is beautiful when her mouth is closed, once she smiles it all goes down hill. She never seemed to have much personality.
i saw her perform in france on the divinidylle tour and she was AMAZING. this performance it does appear that she seems uncomfortable before the crowd and the camera. but in november, i saw her deliver one of the finest concerts i have witnessed down to every last detail. perhaps you should find footage of one of her concerts from her tour and that would contrast the performance above.

Vanessa Paradis is my favourite singer since she was 14. i love each song she made, and this one (dès que je te vois) is one of the best. But i agree, her performance sucks. i don't really understand what happened. She has a beautiful voice, and like singing in live. I think she doesnt want te be here, in this show. And her performance was a provocation (well i hope so). You should see the show "Tarata" where she sings and speaks. She is talented and if you don't believe me, just go to one of her concert. Trust me, she rocks!!!

She was famous way before she met Johnny Depp. As for the dancing, that's her style: super subdued and languid. The lipsynching is a bit out of character though since she usually sings live. Not saying I love the girl, but she is not a dancing/singing popstar like Rihanna or the Spice Girls so you can't compare.
