I have been a fan of Hillary Clinton since I saw her speak in Texas on a campaign speech for her husband before his 2nd election when I was in 9th grade. Ive never forgotten her eloquence. Since then, I have come to really respect and admire all of her amazing qualities: leadership, dedication, courage, and above all compassion. She has dedicated her entire career to serving the needs of women, children, blacks, latinos, and other minorities. Having her in the White House, along with Bill Clinton, is exactly what this country needs.

What NY Times said—Hillary is the BEST choice for prez. I didn't care for her in the beginning but the more I learn about her personally and what she stands for, I've actually come to admire her. Not only that, I took the online test "select a candidate" by what issues that are most important to you and Hillary was number one with 75%, John Edwards second, #3 Mike Gravel and Obama came fourth. Please don't vote for Hillary. Barack Obama is truly an inspiration and can be a face Americans can be proud to have representing them. They say he is inexperienced and what that really means is that he has taken his time working in different, grass-roots arenas before tacking federal politics head on. He is a well-rounded, thoughtful, and kind man. The attacks the Clintons have been taking on him make me sad at our state of politics. The Kennedys are right, he can change America and bring it back to the tolerant, welcoming country our Founders fought so hard to give us.
Also, to Perez. You have such power for influence and I wish you would take that responsibility more seriously in this case. In pop-culture, I enjoy your views and the strong stances you take, but in this case, you are far too influential and important to take stances like this. You have the power to influence so many, particularly the youth and I wish you would try to educate them more and encourage them to take their own stances on an important issue like this. Give them the tools to take a position on these issues. Organizations like mobilize.org and vote or die campaigns work hard to raise awareness, not to back a candidate. I wish you would use your power of influence to encourage thinking for oneself and not to create a biased account of American politics.

I am so curious about the new Obama trend? phenomenon? He talks a great game about change - but I don't think he has a clue how he's going to go about implementing changes. We KNOW Hillary can make a stand for change. As the First Lady she fought hard for a public health care system. She fought against EVERYONE. No one supported her. Although she did not have the power to make the changes alone, she fought hard and won my respect.
If we were voting for a speech maker - I'd probably vote for Obama. But we need someone who can actually effect change. Someone who knows what they're doing. Someone who is experienced enough to tackle the bullshit left behind by Bush.

I've seen Senator Obama speak, and he is an intelligent, amazing, beautiful man, but Hillary has the experience, drive, and willpower to do what America has been needing done for decades.
