    Look at it from this point of view.

    It says " You are a Manic Trigger. If you have any more contact with HIM, you'll kill her."

    Why would it say "him" unless it was really THIS scenario:

    It wasn't just that Adnan wasn't allowed in. NOBODY was allowed in. Because it was Britneys PARENTS they were trying to avoid dealing with. Britneys parents having a relationship with Kevin that day could trigger a manic episode.

    If Britney REALLY wanted to deal with her parents, then she wouldn't have left to be with Adnan. They still ended up getting on the premises, and afterwords she leaves. Why would someone leave their parents who they haven't seen for months, UNLESS she didn't want to be near them in the first place.

    She probably came back because she realized she had to deal with the situation, or maybe Adnan even persuded her to talk to them.
