Production on Michelle Williams' new film has been delayed to allow her to grieve the loss of Heath Ledger.
The movie was set to begin production late next month.
"We will hold off until she is ready," says a source connected with the film. "The production is in the process of sorting it out in respect to her."
Williams had finished filming her final scene in another film being shot in Sweden when she found out the awful news of Ledger's passing.
The actress has been in seclusion and privately mourning since Heath's death.
Our thoughts are with her.

It's amazing to me how so many of you act as if you know these people (Michelle, Heath, etc.) personally - NONE of us have any idea how Heath truly died, NONE of us have any idea what happened between Michelle and Heath, NONE of us have any idea what feelings were there between them, what drew them apart, where they currently stood, their state of minds, etc. So instead of throwing out a bunch of comments as if they were facts, and making slanderous and cruel remarks, how about we all have some respect for the members of Heath's family and his daughter and keep the ridiculous insults and barbaric comments to yourself. Celebrities are always exploited, fair or not, and there is somone here who has died and left behind loved ones who are enduring an enormous amount of grief…and there is a little girl who will never know her father. That is the greatest tradgedy. To disgrace her by calling her late father names and accusing her mother and only surviving parent of being a money-grubbing, coniving bitch who conceived her with the sole intent of getting rich and famous is beyond forgivable. Shame on all of you who have said horrible things for not having enough common sense and decency to leave good enough alone and show respect for people who are in pain and the loss of a gifted young man. May none of you have to face the pain that the people who REALLY knew him are having to live with for the rest of their lives.
