That's the face of a truly broken individual. I feel sorry for her.
There are many conditions where people need medications to keep their body chemestry even, such as those that need insulin. It appears she needs Psychiatric help and meds., which is no shame when a medical condition is causing brain chemistry imbalance. Some conditions cannot be corrected without meds. despite Tom's opinions to the contrary.

What I can't understand is how the paparazzi can see a girl crying like this on the street and NOT help her! Instead of comforting her, which any compassionate human being would/should do, they snap pictures of her! This poor girl. It's no wonder she's losing it. Brit is heavily medicated -to help her relax and ultimately sleep better - it is obvious. The meds strip away that facade people hide behind and emotions surface - she probably can't control the outpour of emotion.
In the end, the release of stress is good - better than bottled up inside!

It's too bad the press hounded her out of her marriage where at least she was protected from this stuff and I hope she gets the support and care she deserves as someone who is suffering so much.
