Re: Angela – Where are the family? Staying away and doing the 'tough love' thing because she's treated them like sh*t. Looks like it might be starting to work. She had a legal restraining order on her own mother as nasty a*s payback for thinking Brit needed that trip to rehab and arranging it with Kevin. Well, her Mom was right, as we've all watched Ms. Spears check herself out prematurely and then gift us all with the soap opera from the twilight zone ever since.Britney NEEDS to sit her butt down and cry. I cant believe a judge has not ordered her to in patient treatment yet. Why cant any other celebrity help her. We dont need or want another death. Head injuries, bi-polar, schizophrenia, multiple personality disorder, ADD, etc.–all of it are forms of epilepsy. Symptoms, like Britney's, can be induced a number of ways–trauma, disease, severe post-traumatic stress (which causes brain damage from a flood of cortisol in brain), drugs–anything that damages brain can cause epilepsy. The severity and exact behavior change of individual, depends on where the damage occurred in one's brain. And when people act weird (outside of direct drug mis-use), they are usually having mild seizures–not grand mal seizures. Someone needs to tell her family this. What she needs is a PET scan–it is the most advanced way to see one's brain function. It shows a map of where brain is firing and mis-firing…an electrical map, so to speak. It's expensive and shitty, ignorant doctors won't proscribe them, because our fucked-up insurance companies do not like to pay for them–but a PET SCAN IS THE GOLD STANDARD. All other tests are less accurate and basically useless. Then, usually an anti-epileptic medication can be proscribed to stop mini-seizures and most abnormal behavior goes away or dramatically improves–assuming huge areas of brain have not been destoyed.

Re: Liz – I have to agree with #750 - i was diagnosed with depression when i was about 13 years old (I'm 20 now). In November 2007 i was diagnosed with epilepsy after a couple of seizures. Now i get blind rages, from both i should imagine. I've read in numerous places what epilepsy can do and how much it has to do with depression, but my boyfriend didn't believe it, so you've just helped me, wait until i show him that lol
…and wish that at some point in her younger years that her parents had stopped peddling her as a sexual being and allowed her to grow up.

It has become an out of control feeding frenzy. And if Britney Spears really does have bipolar disorder, then she is feeding off the frenzy as well. It is not her fault she is ill. In her state of mind she doesn’t realize what she’s doing or the consequences. When you’re sick, you’re sick. This is why they call it an illness. She needs help and compassion, not people pointing fingers, laughing or taking her picture. And the way these paparazzi stalk her, goading and mocking her, trying to provoke her into doing or saying something more scandalous just so they can sell a video is beyond disgusting. I have zero respect for these parasites; they're bottom feeders and what I like to call the 'shit stains' of humanity.
