nicole is fucking awesome, i've seen her play probably 10 times over the past year or two. and, EVERY time, no matter how busy she is after a show, she will take time out to speak to her fans…

no, i've been to her shows (on the list and not on the list), but i'll agree with you that she will do anything for anyone…as long as she benefits from it. maybe she is different now, now that she's getting somewhere and doesn't have to step on us "little people" anymore.
i was just on here to vent a little, but i was still supportive of her music–not her personally. i could have said worse about her.
i'm not jealous of her because i have great friends that she missed out on. i feel sad for her personally, but not professionally–she is a great artist.

It’s embarrassing that you are using a sour memory from ages ago just to say you knew her and seem cool on this blog … Her music is genuine, written from the soul and one hundred million times better then much of the crap that is out there now a days. For all you other people who says she sucks, I wonder what is it that you listen to and what is it that do you not hear in her powerful voice & meaningful lyrics? Give it another listen. And if you don’t like, fine. Just get something better to do with your time then posting pointless shit up about someone you don’t care about…

on to rollem; i NEVER said she sucked! actually if you paid any attention to what i wrote, i clearly stated how AMAZING (see 1st entry—"hauntingly beautiful") her voice is…i think she is very talented and she worked very hard to get where she is….i just wanted to vent about how she got there…and i'm not trying to sound cool because i know her…this is an anonymous posting, so how does that benefit me? i never said she sucked, or looked like a tranny, or any of ther other awful things people have said about her on this blog…actually i said at the end (once again see my 1st post) that everyone should listen to her music…if you are going to attack someone, then make sure you pay attention to what they said.

I've been listening to Nicole for a few years now. Such a sweetheart in person and her music rocks!!! Live and recorded it is like no other. Sure she is on a commercial but ya know what advertisers know what sells and Nicole Atkins and The Sea will sell and they will sell big!!!!! People don't hate on things you don't understand. i can't believe how worked up some of you all have gotten…it's kinda pathetic…this is america and people have the right to their opinion…if you don't agree with theirs, then whatever…they're not trying to force you to like theirs…so just let me and whoever say what they want, and don't attack them for speaking their mind…because after all, it was just a voiced opinion about someone (and not about you (lulu, rollem))…i'm so over this and i can't believe i'm even giving this subject any more of my time…so i'm not. peace out.
you guys are HIGHLARIOUS because of how heated you all have gotten. i used to know nicole back in nc, and i'm glad she has found her success. she has a great voice. that is all i can really comment on because my mom always told me "if you can't say something nice…then come sit next to me!"
