there's a good chance this song will go pretty far in the U.S. i personally didn't feel the song was anything special. also, her carrer came from winning the 'X-Factor' (the UK's version of american idol) which to me, is like a cheat in the music industry. BOO!
I don't get it. Why did they do an "American" version of the song. Just release the version that was already done. What was wrong with that video? Clive Davis is already at work….and that's not a good thing. If she is that good, they shouldn't have to try and "Americanize" her. She should be good enough on her own. The Mariah look just isn't working. She will fail if she's not allowed to be herself. Clive destroyed Whitney and it appears he's going to do the same with her regarding her image.

i loved it… tho i highly doubt there was really any need to do a US version, the original was fine already… they might as well done a music video for another single and released it here as well and that could have been her breakout song here… but it was a good music video i have to say… tho that moment where she holds her notes for a long time was highly awkward… like, could she have shown more emotion? maybe pull a celine dion or one of john mayer's O-faces?

I hate this video! OMG the British vid is SO much better!
I think she is amazing and has an amazing voice, but I am disappointed with the US version of the video. Its watered down and looks cheap. I like the Euro version it attract the viewer. When Natasha Bedingfield was being sold to the US market they also watered down her videos. I think the Euro version have more content and sells the video story better.
Some of u need to so get over urselves!!! The UK is smaller than America so there r less people but wen u get someone talented they r talented. Okay - I am a middle aged housewife that loves to sing and I thought I was going to fall asleep - who is her target audience? If my 14 year old guitar playing son heard me singing in the style that she sings he would say I was screaming and too loud. She does not articulate her words well and it sounds harsh. I really don't understand the appeal of this song at all. I felt bad for the poor girl.

It would appear that the powers that be think that Americans are too stupid to understand the 'art' of the video that the rest of the world understands, so they remade it with scenes of New York in it. How patronising can they get, there were 1000's of American fans who loved the original video along with the rest of the world. They did the same with the Snow Patrols' superbly artistic chasing cars original video, remade it to include scenes of America. WTF is going on???

They did this video because in the original, Leona wasnt the central character so the selfish cow decided to make another one so she can reclaim some attention.

Goshh… I don't know…. It's so hard to compare the two actually…. The first time I heard this song was along to the first video and I was just blown away… The first video is just so passionate,, and when the sprinklers go off at the song's climax it's like an explosion of emotion…… this just seems tamer, like I'm less involved with the song…. but maybe it's because I've heard it so many times now that it's lost that original effect, so if I'd heard it the first time with this video then maybe I'd think it equally awesome………… that said…. the verdict favours the UK version — the US version is wanting and lacking

i can see why they chose this video for the american audience. it's so typically american.. i liked the english video more, maybe .. but she appears to be a stronger performer in this. and it's fresher. it looks much more like something attributed to a begginer artist, which is clever, if it's too visually powerful, like with the water in the previous one, when it's for an artist who isn't known then it might kind of confuse people. it might be anti-climactic. . like in the uk everyone knew who she was, and was expecting something big from her. it's a non-intimidating video. very nice

The new video isn't an improvement on the original but Leona looks different. I can't quite put my finger on it - I guess she looks more airbrushed because Americans need airbrushing

It was alright, but the clothes were kinda boring, i miss the fantastic silver dress she wore in the european video.
Adore the song but the US version of the video sucks. UK version is so much better and much more unique.
