Thank God for Leona! we havent heard a real singer in a long time- these silly girls in L.A. need to step it up and take notice that a real singer doesnt need to run around flashing her crotch, or posing with her hairstylist, a real singer is concerned about singing, not how many gossip magazines they are in. Thats just bird cage filler ladies.

She still looks quite gorgeous in the American video, but this new version is quite stale in comparison to the British one. It lacks the pizzazz and originality of the first video. Why do U.S. record execs want to make her look more American by sticking her in the middle of Times Square??? That's just plain dumb and uninspired… The British video is stunning. Why try to reinvent the wheel? I doubt this will hurt record sales since the single is very good, but still a bad move in terms of artistic vision.

Not my type, I'm more into the indie scene as most music majors are, and to be honest, she looks like just another pop singer. The video itself is too typical, too boring, too I've already seen this a thousand times. Starts with a fight in an urban setting (Times Square), then goes to a close up of her and how pretty and sad she is, zooms out, then goes back to tell the "story" of why she is all sad in the city in really expensive clothes, the scene itself looks like a scene from Alanis Morrisette's "Thank You" except she's not naked, which in this case doesn't help her. Thumbs Down, and let's thank the major labels for giving us yet another artist who lacks innovation. I could write 5,000 of these songs in my sleep.

It makes no sense when you people say that she sounds like "everyone" else…she is raw talent and definitely the truest young soul in music today. She will be huge here in the States. This song is so gorgeous, her voice so pure, her magnetism undeniable. And yet, she is so down to earth, so shy about her own talent, so non-pompous and gracious…her x-factor performances shed light on what kind of woman she truly is. She is everything the Britneys and the Lohans and the Duffs of the world wish they could be. I wish her all of the most beautiful luck in the world with her album. America needs a gracious and talented singer like Leona to show all women what true grace is.

Leona demonstrated real talent and stood out , plus we've all heard her sing live , i know she was quite a shy and reserved girl and believe that shes over coming that , she has raw talent you cant say that about alot of people , i also think shes pretty much on the same peg as christina , who personally i think oversings alot of the time ,or shows off more so live then on her albulm … love xtina all the same though.

Still an amazing song but Simon Cowell must be CRAZY releasing this new video for the US - as most comments agree. The original (US made) video was one of the finest of last year and made Leona look beautiful. Pull this new shit now and use the original - bad videos can harm even songs as good as this.

I love Leona Lewis. I specail ordered her CD from the UK but I will say the original video is beautiful. I don't know why the felt the need to redo it. It is kind of blah and boring. The visuals in the original are stunning.
