At one time I was proud to say Avril was Canadian…she wasnt scared to push the boundaries…to do what she wanted to do…to write the music she wanted to write and sing…but now-she is just a spoiled brat who thinks just because she got lucky and became big and rich that everyone is below her-she is so full of herself and thinks that she is sooo smart and perfect, well she can just kiss Canadas ass (ohh and for the people that say avril is cool-how old are you 12? Grow up shes a sell out and a fuck up)

Australia hates Avril too……….she's never been the slightest bit edgy, she is such a record company executive's version of "rebel" it's embarrasing. They should have chosen someone with actual, like, personality - and a decent singing voice wouldn't go ashtray! Every time she leaves Australia - she's been here a few times, lucky us - her interviewers can't wait to talk about how exceptionally boring she is to talk to, and how precious she thinks she is.

Avril Lavigne has a phenomenal voice and I do believe that most Canadians are really quite proud of her and all of the accomplishments in her young life. It would seem that she has managed to avoid the pit-falls and self-destructive habits that so many young stars today seem to fall into. I think that Avril should be pleased and delighted to be from Canada… land of clean air, fresh water, friendly and polite people and of course… maple syrup.

She is an ass…I took my daughters to see her in Japan and what an intersting show! She got pissed off at one point because the audience was like looking at her or something stupid like that, who the hells knows and walked off stage! Her band stood there playing and after about 5 or 6 mins she decided she would engage us! It seemed she complained on one thing or another in between every song…this story is NO surprize!

I'll be interviewing Avril in March. And I read the article. I guess if you were an entertainment figure and had people following you around 24/7, you may very well want to spit in their eye too. So I think people need to realize what Avril goes through on a day to day basis before they judge. And this article written about Avril is just another example of someone poking at her chest over and over and over.

I am not a fan of Avril and am a Canadian, I will say she maybe immature, spoiled and dumb but she made it big and is known internationally. So although she's not Celine or Bryan Adams (nice, appreciative Canadian exports) she has made her mark and her money. We can only be jealous of that, right PEREZ!
