In addition, this article isn't nasty - this is a factual account of the situation. I'm very active in politics and know many, many Democrats who will vote for McCain over Hillary. She IS divisive. People either love her or hate her. I personally think she would be a fine president but too many people, especially Republicans that she has to work with in Congress, HATE HER. Nothing will get accomplished (similar to now) as Republicans will vote against her the way Democrats vote against Bush. There is too much history there for people to be able to work together productively. She's not the personality we need in the White House. If Hillary is our candidate, the Republicans will rally around thier nominee stronger than ever - and most Republicans don't even like McCain. Furthermore - this is mild in comparison to what Bill and Hillary were both saying prior to South Carolina.
As for Gay marriage, while I think it is a wonderful thing, I'm not sure ANY president is going to get that passed. It is going to continue to be pushed down to a state level. Sad but true.

If Clinton is chosen as the democratic canidate, which won't even be clear after Super Tuesday (which I'm sure you're totally unaware of) then this country will have a Republican for the next four years. McCain will wipe the floor with her and you'll be left to sulk and complain— things you seem to do very well.
Obama is obviously not ready to be president when he keeps acting like a 2 year old.

Perez, you failed to mention that the Clintons have initated the attacks on Obama. It was the Clintons who made race an issue by marginalizing Obama as the "Black" candidate. Furthermore, you failed to mention the fact the Bill compared Obama's campaign to that of Jessie Jackson. In addition, you have forgotten that the Clinton administration bears some responsiblity for the crisis in Iraq, illegal immigration, and the outsourcing of jobs to other countries. How easily you forget that the Clinton adminstration courted the gay vote only to tell gays in the military to stay in the closet. The Clintons sent Elian Gonzalez back to Cuba. The Clintons were involved in serveral political scandals - Whitewater, Monica Lewinsky, etc… Additionally, the Clintons just happened to be in the office at the right time. The economy is cyclical. We do not need another politician - the Clintons are the real enemy! Perez - you really need to educate yourself about the evil ways of the Clintons.

I was at this speech and, although I'm still undecided, it was an amazing speech. Whether or not you are for or against Obama, this speech and rally was extremely moving. His idea of change is something that this country needs. Anything other than Bush will do, though.

I am a Celifornia Republican and on Tuesday I'm voting in the democratic primary against Hussein Obama and for Hillary (who I don't even like.) What the hell is his plan? Read something like "Hillary's Scheme" or "For the love of Politics" two books that will enlighten you guys a little. I am sure there are many. Some of them you could probably even understand! At least Barack attacks Hillary himself and doesn't have his spouse do it for him. Hillary needs to stop relying on her husband to do her dirty work because Bill Clinton has made many terrible, misconstrued, and unprofessional comments about Barack that are far worse than Barack's speech. Barack is just doing what "Billary" has been doing for months.
