I love it…first ET & Insider say they're going to air the video, then we b!tch and email stations and stuff protesting. Then ET has on their site that they are now NOT going to air the video, but then on that clip you linked says Australia is going to show the clip on their Channel 9. WTF?!! This is what the Australian papers are reporting:
CHANNEL Nine will reportedly air a video of Heath Ledger allegedly on a drug binge at a Hollywood hotel tonight.
US program Entertainment Tonight said the Australian network had obtained copies of the video - allegedly taken at Los Angeles celebrity hangout Chateau Marmont in January last year - and planned to be the first television station in Australia to air a full version of the scandalous footage.
Entertainment Tonight's US east coast edition aired the footage earlier - but the US west coast edition did not do so in full, apparently for legal reasons.
"Entertainment Tonight reportedly paid almost $A225,000 for the tape but Penfold said Nine had not shelled out any cash. "There was absolutely no money involved at all," he said.

In this video, if you scroll to the last minute and watch Heath is heard saying he smoked 5 joints a day for 20 years. Uh he was only 28…Does that sound odd to anyone else?
You're being a complete hypocrite by posting this video. You lash out on ET and The Insider for trying to broadcast this video, but then you immediately post the whole video right afterwards? WTF dude?
I agree that people should respect the privacy of Heath Ledgers family. And afterall he is dead now, it's too late, so what does this video really accomplish?
But on the other hand I don't understand why the media is so protective of celebrity's drug problems. Why didn't they show this when he was alive- they state that people had known about the video for a couple years. Maybe it would have forced him to go to rehab and get better and not die at 28. Too me if the media has knowledge and proof of someones drug problems as they often do they should expose it so that person is forced to take a look at their problems. Gossip blogs and other media almost enable these celebrities by keeping their drug problems well hidden. I don't think people should pry into celebrities lives, I'm just saying if something is well known and a video like that falls into their lap- why not show it?

Just read news summary of the video from the Australian TV station who procured the home movie & Ledger NEVER ACTUALLY DID ANY DRUGS ON IT. Seriously either they should show the rest of the video & clear his name or RELEASE A PUBLIC STATEMENT indicating he didn't do any drugs on that tape!

Other people are doing drugs around him, but Heath is not actually doing drugs in this video. It's just the promo of the video on ET. In fact, like someone else said, everything that is shown could be taken completely out of context. All we're seeing is the bits and pieces of the video that ET has allowed us to see.

Ok, so Perez you've crossed the line here. This video was taken 2 years ago and has no bearing on the fact that he is dead. I read that he was having trouble sleeping. And I know how easy it is to take too many pills out of desperation. I've done it before, not to that extent, thank goodness. Yeah that isn't necessarily true. I know healthy people who aren't druggies that have dropped dead and the autopsy hasn't shown ANYTHING wrong with them. Matter of fact, I lost someone in April that way. She dropped dead in her home and we still don't know what happened.
