There is absolutely nothing "SHOCKING" about it. It's just Heath at a party where OTHER PEOPLE are doing drugs. He says he used to smoke 5 joints a day for 20 years, which must be an exaggeration or he started smoking pot as a baby, but still the video doesn't prove one damn thing.
Some people will just latch onto something and go with it whether it makes sense or not. The other guys have probably decided not to run it because they realized it is TOTALLY LAME.

firstly it doesnt show him using any drugs. It shows other people using it. He only talks about his drug use in the past. This was 2 years ago which doesnt necessarily mean that this is what killed him. He may not even be an addict.
He may not know any of those people taking it and may not even be in the same room. Just another video where the media have got its hands on and made some editing to make it look bad.

The video was taken over 2 years ago and it DOES NOT show Heath taking drugs in the video. The news guy even says that Heath was not taking drugs in the video and that it was heavily edited. Leave the poor guy alone and let him rest in peace. He does not even sound messed up in the video. What hurts the most is that he was hanging out with 2 "regular" guys, not acting like a celebrity, and the whole time they were filming in either planning to blackmail him to make money off it. Such a shame.

I have watched the video and the one thing that sticks out his Heaths behavior. When you first watch it you hear him say, I smoked 5 joints a day for the past twenty years. At the time of the video, he was 26 years old. By his accounts, he started smoking weed when he was six years old. I'm not sure if he was trying to impress the people he was getting his free coke from but wtf? Also, I have wanted to point out that the masseuse found him at 3 oclock and the first call to "anybody" was at 3:19. What happened to those 20 minutes of time? I wish somebody would bring this to light. If he was dead for 20 minutes then it sounds like the died the moment she found him and there hasn't been anybody that has brought that to light.

First off, this was an "after party" for the SAG Awards, which took place that night…so, yes, he's going to be there and not necessarily to "score" drugs….it's Hollywood. You'll find drugs at EVERY Hollywood party. You can either partake or choose not to. This video does not indicate that he chose to join like the other partygoers did. The whole video shows other people snorting lines but not Heath. Coincidence? No. He isn't shown because he didn't do it. If he had, it would be on there. He said he "USED to smoke 5 joints a day". Why? Perhaps he felt the need to justify to the other people there the reason why he was not doing blow with them…because he was trying to be sober…maybe he was explaining that he quit doing drugs…for his g/f and daughter (hence the "used to"). He felt bad being there…his guilt is written on his face…because, as he said, he shouldn't be there…(or be exposing himself to that temptation).

What I love is how they say "Heath Ledger at WILD Hollywood Drug Party". Its about 4 or 5 people sitting around with ONE guy doing a line or something. Hardly a wild party, and Heath isn't even doing drugs. He was at the hotel following the Golden Globes because they were having a post-party there, and I'm sure if he wanted to score some drugs he could have easily done so considering all the celebrities there. It seems to be he just wanted to ecape and hang out with some regular people. He doesn't sound the least bit wasted in the tape. We love Heath no matter what and its really sad that people feel the need to publish all this garbage about him.

I watched part of this video, you could clearly see Heath was not comfortable being in this room with the drugs and these people He even say's so too! He is not seen doing anything but having a Beer. January 31, 2008 — HEATH Ledger had become a regular user of cocaine and heroin in the past year, getting so high on drugs that an exasperated Michelle Williams was forced to boot him out of their Brooklyn home, The Post has learned.
"She couldn't take it any more. Heath wouldn't show up for two to three days, and all of a sudden he would show up on her doorstep, an absolute wreck," a member of Ledger's entourage who did drugs with him told The Post's Lorena Mongelli. "He was partying, doing drugs. She didn't like the company he was keeping. She gave him an ultimatum. . . . and threatened to get custody of the girl. He wanted to make it work, but it was this scene he was wrapped up in. Was he an addict? Yeah."
Heath's drug pal told The Post the 28-year-old star's mushrooming fame had him constantly exposed to drugs. As the pressures of work grew, he couldn't say no, and then wouldn't get help. "He was hanging out with a bad crowd. He wasn't cleaning up his act. He was making absolutely no effort . . . He was really into heroin. He wasn't sleeping or communicating with anyone."
"At the end of the day this is really tragic," the source said. "He was a nice guy. I first met him in 2002. He was scared about the whole Hollywood thing . . . I don't think he realized how crazy it was going to be. So many people wanted a piece of him."

If he did have drug problems, why the hell is it only just coming out now when nothing could be done? If this video had been released earlier then it would have been a bit of a scandal for him but at least he'd of had a chance to defend himself, and something could have been done to help him if he needed it. The idea of someone shelving this video for 2 years is sick, were they already waiting for him to die so they could get bigger coverage? If so, then that's even worse, because this may have been avoided.
