The strings are being cut! Osama Lutfi's control over Britney Spears will hopefully be over soon.
Brit's mom, Lynne Spears, wants to take the troubled star back to Lousiana, one of her lawyers, Michael Flanagan, has revealed.
Lynne hopes to take her daughter back home as soon as she's released from UCLA Medical Center in three days.
Momma Spears is "extremely concerned for her daughter," obviously, according to Flanagan.
Lynne feels that the biggest problem facing Britney's recovery is the circle of friends she’s become involved with and Lynne desperately wants to extricate her daughter from that. “Brit has an amazing support system in Louisiana,” Flanagan says, reinforcing the belief that Britney simply can't get the help she needs while she remains in L.A. “Lynn was holding up reasonably well, but her first priority and concern right now is with her daughter and helping her through this very tough situation that she is in.”
Going home to Louisiana is a good idea, but it won't cure all of Britney's problems.
This is gonna be a long process of getting better!
But being with her family and back home are good first steps. It will also help cut down the number of paparazzi that follow her around every day, but many will still be there.
Does anyone really have faith that the CA. court system will do the right thing.She needs to go back to the trailor park she came from.

she should have gotten treatment outside of the country. she could have picked any place on the globe so long as it's away from the media.

This is the problem . . . 3 days is nothing with regards to the medical help Britney needs. She needs to stay at UCLA at least 14 days and I pray her physician and the court will see this. With all due respect Spears family, don't screw this up. Ensure she gets the medical help she needs. 3 days is just a long night's sleep in this poor child's life. She needs to be completely detoxed and 3 days isn't it!

Sorry, but I don't think Lynne Spears is necessarily the best thing for Britney right now…Britney needs to STAY in a hospital for a while with dedicated PROFESSIONALS caring for her. If Lynne fails to understand this, she is a bad influence. Britney clearly doesn't trust her and Lynne Spears is obviously part of the problem with Britney's mental instability. This glaring issue needs to be addressed BEFORE Britney goes anywhere with her!!!

It's funny how people say that her mental condition is "fixable". Can you guys really imagine her in a couple of years, on TV, talking and looking back on this period of her life and "feel silly" about it?

She is mental. Period. A lobotomy might work a little bit. Shock therapy too. But she'll never be "normal" again. Sure they can medicate her and junk, but she's past the point of rescue. If at some point she "seems" normal in the future, it'll be because somebody is back to coaching her and spinning everything.
Also again, The Psyc doc can put a restraining order on the mom, dad, boyfriends at a drop of the hat, which if they keep acting as they are I wouldnt be suprised if they were kept from even seeing her, whcih as an outsider with all the reports the familys pushing it. I think the Psyc doc should do it. Its extremely easy for the Doc to do

I think this may be helpful for Britney to go and be with her family in a safe environment. I didn't realize, until a few minutes ago, how much and how many people follow Britney around on a daily basis! I realize that she has brought some of this on herself. At some point, when someone is obviously struggling, we have to create an environment that does not support the self-destructive behavior.
Everyone has said such horrible things about Britney, the fact remains that no one lives in her house or has her life and none of us has the right to judge anyone else for the decisions they make. This is not only said for the Spears' family as a whole, but for those two precious children. Has Britney made the best decisions for her life? No! No one knows that better than Britney. She is the one who lives, breathes and deals with her decisions on a daily basis.
I think it is time for us all to leave her, her children, her family, her sister and everyone associated with her to heal! I believe that we have all taken this a little too far and my heart is saddened as I know I have read articles and bought magazines just to "see" what was going on with her. Today, I will stop! I wouldn't want this done to my family due to decisions I have made in my life…So, I think enough is enough!!! We, as a society, need to stop revelling in her sadness and leave her to become healthy. Every human being deserves that basic level of respect.

I'm sorry to say that just because Britney is getting medical treatment she probably will not be getting "better" in the sense of being 100% normal. If she is in fact bipolar and schizophrenic then she will probably go through phases where she is unwilling to take meds, etc. She will be able to get better, but probably not to the point that everyone is expecting. These are serious mental issues that will be with her forever. I just hope everyone will stop expecting some quick turnaround.
Poor Britney is unbalanced. She needs professional care for a few months. The Adderal and the laxatives are just "toxic" for a young woman…and probably a major contributing factor to her poor mental state. Neither Britney's mother nor Lufti are medical doctors or shrinks. She needs to detox and then get the grief therapy so desperately needs.

That has to be better than the status quo. But I am sad to say that there is no cure for being stupid.
Finally someone is making some since! She needs to stay in the hospital for now until she is more mentally stable and has the correct medications, then the perfect place for her would be home with her family. At least at home her every move will not be recorded for someone else's profit, and she can have the privacy she needs to deal with her illness. Does anyone remember Patty Duke's story of how her life spiraled out of control until she got her bi-polar disorder under control? Brit can get better with the right medications and therapy. I am sure once she is herself again it will be difficult dealing with how much of her private breakdown became public, but she can endure and get her children back or at least visitation. I'm not sure if Brit could or should ever return to CA to live permently, but she could always travel back for her music and then return to a quieter life! Good luck Brit and family I will keep you in my prayers!
The only real factor to healing, next to the right medication and a psychiatrist, is her mom/family. Britney needs to go home, find herself, and recover. Her family is the best way to keep her grounded, safe to herself, and make the change!

Probably the best thing for her would be to have an outside guardian appointed for her by the court that doesn't have $$$ on the brain and once the gravy train stopped it would be interesting to see how many "concerned people" slithered away.
Good. It's the best place for her. It's gonna take time to get everything sorted, but at least she's with family and there is some kind of restriction on the press. It's Lynnes responsibility, so I'm glad she's doing whats best for her baby. Soon Britney will be back. I believe that, she is one of the greatest artists and performers of this generation and that talent won't be wasted. Britney won't let it happen and people and fans won't let it either.
