Hillary Clinton did an amazing job tonight. She really showed why she is the best candidate. Obama has good ideas, but his mind is limited.

Those who said Obama won this debate, didn't watch the debate.
If you watched, you would see he clearly didn't make a good argument for anything. And most importantly, it is clear he has no plans. This will almost be like Bush years, no plans, just a lot of talk and make up things as you go along.
Personally, I like people who think. I like people who have a plan. I like people who I can trust to have good advisors. No one knows anything about Obama.
Hillary for president. Edwards should be vice president. Obama can go back to senator, learn something over the next 8 years, come back with more experience under his belt, and have a plan for the future. Stop preaching, start planning.

I thought the debate was excellent. Clinton and Obama were reasoned and respectful, and I truly hope they become the next president and vice president of your country.
However, as to which one should be president…if you guys don't stop voting for members of the Clinton or Bush families soon (It's been president Bush/Clinton since 1988 guys! I mean, come on!) you're going to finally prove to rest of the world, once and for all, that your so-called "democratic process" is no better at giving a voice to the people than anyone else's political system. All around the world it's the same, wealthy powerful families control the political process for their own ends, while the little guys get dragged along in their wake.
I hope Americans will have the wisdom to make it an Obama/Clinton bill and not the other way round.
What message do you really want to send to the rest of the world about the people who lead you?
As someone who caucused for John Edwards, I think Hillary won - the debate forum is just not Barack's strong point - he gets some good one liners in, otherwise he's without substance and boy does he st-t-t-t-tutter! That, and Hillary just comes off more knowledgeable and Presidential.

perez who are you voting for? i know i should pay a little more attention to politics…but i find it to be extreeeeeemmmmmely boring…. and i dont know what they are saying half the time…. but that is not an excuse for myself nor anyone else to not get involved and register to vote. i think a lot of people, especially young adults out there dont get involed in politics, NOT because they are ignorant and careless (although to some may be the case) but because some arent educated enough to truly understand what everything means and how it affects them. i dont want to get deep into the nitty gritty of debates, republicans, democrats, etc. etc. i want an unbiased list of candidates and the pros and cons for each…then i can decide for myself who i believe deserves my vote (*cough *cough vote democrat *cough) as an american. America is not ready for a black president - especially one that has no track record of international relationships and diplomacy. Don't get me wrong …. The problem with Obama is that he is very inexperience on the national stage and has dug himself a huge hole in the west. Hillary knows so she didn’t fall for any traps but Obama did time and time again.
Too many D.C/NYC people coaching Obama and that doesn’t fly out here. The east coast doesn’t know crap about what is going on in the west. Just like on the talk show…it ticks me off so all the time how little respect California get from the east coast.

The California economy is larger then most countries and right now our economy is tanking and for the pundits to talk about the Iraq vote like it was yesterday and not talk about the economy more is just amazing to me.

God she did well tonight!!! I literally got shivers listening to her speak sometimes. She has LEADER written all over her. I was very encouraged to hear that she visited 82 countries and met with numerous foreign government officials during her tenure as first lady; that is exactly the kind of experience we need when our international standing is so dismal. She has the contacts and the know-how to get us back in the world's good graces. Not to mention all the good she will do for people on our shores. god I hope she is the next President of the United States!!
and Hil: if you get the nom, pick Obama as your VP! Same to Obama if he wins: pick Hillary. You two will be simply unbeatable~

How can anyone be for the republican party unless you are extremely wealthy? What this country needs is a democratic president. Either of these two will do a fine job. They are actually looking at the cause of things as opposed to blaming all the problems on the immigrants or the terrorists.
All republicans are doing is making the rich richer and the poor poorer.
And on the issue of immigration: while i agree that it must be solved, it must be solved with humanity and compassion. We always claim to stand on the moral high ground to the rest of the world, but the republicans would just pack people up and deport them. They seem to forget that we are talking about human beings who risked their lives to get to America and make a better life for themselves and their children. And one more thing. What will happen to the Californian service industry if we deport all immigrant workers? Who will serve your coffee???
Here is the deal, either one of these people will be a great president. Each one of them will hopefully guide this great country from the corruption and incompetence of the last 7 years. I hope that George Bush and DIck Cheney live long lives so than can live in shame of all for all of their misdeeds. Then, in the final act of pennance, that they burn in hell for all eternity.
