I feel silly stating the obvious- America is thrilled that our troubled sweetheart is finally getting the help from her family that she needs…
That being said, I am going to comment on the vid I just watched and be unladylike on the most popular/read celebrity gossip site on the 'net. Here goes:

A boy in an American midwestern town was suicidal. He went to the 'net and some folks told him to kill himself, just like you just commented about Brit, "Bitch needs to end her life already". Let me tell you something right now- The little boy who was told to kill himself DID. His father talked about it on the news.
If you think Britney needs to end her life, I only would like to ask you WHY? Who gave you the authority to make such a decision? Suicide is a PERMANENT solution to a TEMPORARY problem.
Britney is lovely, talented, and obviously very loved, plus she has two small boys. Why don't you think before you post something about a woman who has two little boys who love and need her. To even joke about Britney ending her life is a sleazy thing to do at this point. You were once a little boy. Would you have wanted folks to suggest that your Mum commit suicide?
At this point, I'm sure a lot of people would rather just strangle you and call it a day. No offense intended, dude, just think before you open your mouth. Peace out.

Janet's music sounds nice and consistent with her traditional style of music. However, right now she can't compete with soulja boy. She should just do the damn thing like Prince - make music and tour for the love of it and not for the chart breaker. She needs to do a hit and run tour like prince with a few promos and sell her records that way. I guarantee if she annouces autograph signing of her new CD… people would buy for an opportunity to see her and get her signature. She has more power with her fan base then she's willing to use. She's JD's girl, so just relax, jump on the radio every now and then and just be down to earth janet.

You know, I actually feel sorry for her now. At fist I just thought she was bein an annoying spoiled popstar, looking for any attention she could find. Now, I'm seeing a different picture. I'm not a doctor, but I do have a LOT of experience with mental illness and I seriously think Brit may be Bipolar/Manic Depressive. The disorder actually affects nearly 10% of the US population so it's not that uncommon but fairly hard to diagnose since there are feelings of euphoria and not JUST depression. I was diagnosed in 2001 and it changed my life. FINALLY all those mood swings, crazy decisions, and sleepless nights made sense… along with the depressive episodes. Poor Brit has probably been dealing with this so long and she's finally snaped. It's good she's in the hospital, hopefully receiving excellent care from knowledgeable doctors and staff. Medications can do wonders. Really, I would know. The hardest part is admitting you're sick. I'm tired of reading about her now and just hope she gets better. She deserves priacy and respect in a time like this, no matter how famous she is or all her crazy stunts. Give the poor girl a break! Like I said, I'm not a doctor but the actions totally fit the illness. Get better Brit!
If the Lufti was on her side he would just keep his mouth shut. He reminds me a lot of Anna Nicoles enabler boyfriend/attorney. What was his name - you know the one who lived and loved the spotlight and is too ugly to have been under one without the help of the blonde beauty.
