Eva Mendes has checked into rehab!
The actress is seeking treatment for substance abuse at the Cirque Lodge in Utah, the place Lindsay called home for several months last year.
Mendes has already been there a few weeks.
Everybody in Hollywood is on drugs, y'all.

Eva's publicist just released this statement.
"Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support. Out of respect for Eva's privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details."

I'm a drug addict, who has been to treatment in the past. A drug addict doesn't go to treatment center unless it's pretty serious. Drug addicts usually have to be near rock-bottom or court mandated to do this.
I hope her problem really isn't "critical" like her publicist says, yet sometimes I wonder/feel sorry for these stars- even when they are trying to help themselves, their publicist has to explain it all to the American public?
If I was a star, my publicist would say "No Comment" so often the public would get sick of me.
Good luck Eva, I'm not too familiar w/your work, but I know your face, and you is beautiful girl. Good job at realizing you have a problem early and trying to get some help.

P.S. If you relapse, don't do it in full view of the paparazzi while chugging a big bottle of booze. Do it in the privacy of your own home.
Rehab is the new trend to dying stars in hollywood. Sad!! and funny!! LOL. i hope ppl in the real world here wont follow that trend!!

If you go to Cirque Lodge's website, it definitely only mentions drug and alcohol abuse…. not eating disorders or depression. Hope it helps her, I think it's smart to get treatment for a problem early instead of waiting until you OD for the 85th time and ruin your career.
