Though they had promised to go to Asia, South America, Australia and other places, the ladies have now officially announced that they will be ending their run after their last shows in the U.S. this month.

IMPORTANT TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT
Sadly the tour needs to come to an end by the end of February due to family and personal commitments for Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria. It was announced in June that, as well as the Europe and the US, the girls planned to visit Australia, China, South Africa and Argentina. Due to the phenomenal demand for tickets in the UK and the US along with the touring logistics for such a massive production it was not possible to fit everything in. As the girls return to normal family life and the kids go back to school they are reviewing all the options, who knows what the future might bring!
The girls said: “We’ve had such an amazing time over the last 3 months. It’s been incredible being back together and seeing our fans again. We want to thank everyone who came to see us. It was all so mad the first time round, so we’ve really been able to appreciate it properly this time. There have been so many highlights and good times that we know it will be hard to be apart after Toronto. Really sorry if we didn’t get to see you this time round. We all have other commitments in our lives now but who knows what will happen next.”

Firslty I would like to say that I feel for all those fans who don't get the chance to see them now! But on the other hand, a tour like this won't come to a country for just one show! That will make the ticketprice like 5times higher than they are in UK/US. Transport costs are too high for 1 show.
I think there will be a DVD release so everybody gets a chance to see them!

Then they extend and extend in Europe and the States, and leave us out. I heard the Australian promoters had offered a VERY substantial sum for them to come to Oz, but even that didn't sway them. Don't promise something if you can't follow through!

I've been to their show last night in Montreal, but It wasn't worth the money. I'm sorry to say that the girls lacked passion last night, and I'm speaking from the heart of a diehrad fan. Posh was just robotic and wasn't doing any efforts, in fact all of them looked tired and bored with the routines , at some point theydidn't follow any rehearsed choreography. They were just going fresstyle. Maybe it is about the ,money. The good reviews are already in, so they don't care anymore. They want out, to go spend the $$$$$. Mel B , Mel C killed it though, and Geri made the best of her solo spot! Maybe it got better at the end when they performed the 3 greatest hits. Sucks to be those fans in the other parts of the world. Celine Dion is over 40 and she is still greatful for all the fans taht made her rich. She's touring a whole year. Why can't the Spice girl respect their promise?

I finally got excited about 2 weeks ago when i was sent an email asking how many seats i wanted, but i have heard nothing since, i woke this morning and cheaked the girls site as i do pretty much every hour, to hear all Australian, South African, China and Argentinan dates have been cancelled! I have been waiting to see the Spice Girls live since i was 6, which is 10 years ago. And its meant to be a "world tour", America and Europe is hardly the world. You cant go around saying yes we are going to Cape Town, Sydney etc and not pull thorugh, many many people are annoyed right now, May i remind you that Australia is the only country where the greatest hits actually hit #1, so that shows you just how many fans there are here. Plus if the Girls knew they had other commitments why did they agree to do this is the first place, they said they were shocked by the response, we have been waiting for this reunion since 2001 and they were the biggest band of the 90's , as if they didnt know the response would be huge!

How ridiculous that they're not coming. I am super pissed at how rude they are being to us who are "down under". They NEVER toured here in the first place and I think it's such a snub for them to say "oh sorry we told you we're coming but we're not anymore, who knows what the future holds". It makes it quite obvious that all they're motivated by is money and whatever makes their own lives easiest. If they gave a s.hit about their fans, or their music, they would have made the effort to do at least one show in the key capital cities of each country they have missed.
I would have paid the ticker price for memories' sake. But now I never will, even if they decide to come back one day (which i doubt) because I feel they've totally snubbed us…they're not even true talents. Manufactured pop at it's best is the highest compliment you can pay to them.

I'm from Australia. They came out here ONCE at the height of their fame. No concerts, just a pissy appearance at a cinema in Melbourne to promote their movie. So we were neglected then.
Now, when thousands upon thousands of people have bought their Greatest Hits album and sent it to number 1, and have waited patiently through months-long delays, they pull this one on us? Not cool. They could have made heaps playing shows down here, there are so many fans, but obviously we're not worth the effort. I know they have families of their own, but seriously… Come off it. If you can be bothered putting on that many shows in the US and England, you can certainly come down here and do one or two shows for fans who have been waiting 10+ years to see you.
