Michelle Wiliams is speaking publicly for the first time since the tragic death of Heath Ledger.
The grieving actress' publicist released a statement on Friday. It reads:
"Please respect our need to grieve privately. My heart is broken. I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father. All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day. His family and I watch Matilda as she whispers to trees, hugs animals, and takes steps two at a time, and we know that he is with us still. She will be brought up with the best memories of him."
Our thoughts are with her.

There is a rumor running in autralia for ages now. Heath's one and only love was Naomi Watts whom he met on NEDKELLY. She was the one who influenced him to star in Brokeback Mountain.She left him because he was a flirted with Scarlett Johansenn and other female stars when he would go out in bars. She broke up with him but they remained deeply in love. Heath met Michelle on Brokeback but was still in love with Naomi. Next thing he knew, Michelle was pregnant and he realised he needed to forget Naomi for the sake of his child to be. Naomi then dated Liev and now has a child of her own. But they both remained deeply in love with each other. Naomi is the one mourning to death right now.

I have a little girl about 6 months younger than Matilda and I see so much of what she sees in my little one too….. inquisitive, bright and so much like both her daddy and I. Fortunately she has us both to nurture her and guide her on her journey through life. Michelle's words brought tears to my eyes - may Matilda's daddy watch over her and may this little family be given the space, privacy and dignity to be able to grieve in peace and allow this little girl to blossom and grow. She sounds like such a treasure. Much love to a fellow mummy X

that is so freakin sad and beautiful at the same time. it is clear that they were very much in love and that perhaps he had some demons he was trying to work through. that is the saddest of it all. God Bless them. Based on some clips I saw of Heath talking about how he is less afraid of death because he will live through her- Michelle's message would make him so happy. She is a class act, a good mother and will cherish his memory and keep it alive for Matilda.

If it is true that Heath battled drugs and Michelle knew it - she should come forward after her grieving and be a spokesperson for becoming drug free. Matilda lost her Dad and most likely because of his lifestyle and I am not talking about just his death. She apparently lost him a long time ago if Heath put drugs before them. She could make this something positive down the road if she does not hide the truth. The truth is the truth and do something with it….

This message comes from Michelle's heart and it breaks my heart that she has to think of the media and the public and publish a message to reassure us of the deep love and concern she had for her baby's daddy. She should not have to do this but this is what she was expected to do from the media or else they would have all these stories about them not getting along, her not caring for Heath, etc…
And for those who say that Naomi was his only love, I would say that he had a child with Michelle and that is enough!!! Do not dig the ashes!!!
