Jamie Spears and a lawyer have been named conservators of Britney's estate. What they say goes.
Osama Lutfi is out of the picture. Legally! Britney's parents got a restraining order against him and he can not get anywhere near Spears.
Pops Jamie and the attorney have temporary power over Spears's finances, in addition to securing her residence, changing its locks, and vacating any persons living there. They also are allowed to restrict and limit visitors to Britney, as well as employ security guards to protect her.

That is some great news. Hopefully her family can get rid of the leeches that cling to her for support, and to enable their own drug problems. This could be the turn around everyone hopes for.

Although the news is true, I don't know whether to believe that Britney's situation will get better from here. That's not to say that I am doubting her, but how many times can one see her being taken away in an ambulance thinking that those are her last moments before she gets her life straightened out again? I have a lot of faith in Britney getting better, she can do this, but I just don't want my hopes to get shot down again. I want to put my faith in her, knowing it will be the real deal. And until then, I will always keep my fingers crossed and will never exhaust the idea of having hope for her. That is the least she deserves after all she's been through, whether or not she's responsible for the condition that she's in. Let's keep our fingers crossed, not pointed.

Finally he's been restrained.
That's the one of the few positive things that have happened. He Dad seems totally trustworthy. He's a recovering addict himself and probably battles some of the same mental demons she has. Also I've heard her father doesn't take any money from her. That he lives a pretty normal life and works as a personal chef.
