Jamie Spears and a lawyer have been named conservators of Britney's estate. What they say goes.
Osama Lutfi is out of the picture. Legally! Britney's parents got a restraining order against him and he can not get anywhere near Spears.
Pops Jamie and the attorney have temporary power over Spears's finances, in addition to securing her residence, changing its locks, and vacating any persons living there. They also are allowed to restrict and limit visitors to Britney, as well as employ security guards to protect her.

I actually tend to believe this too. Lufti may well be shady and he may be bad for her ultimately but I don't think her parents are great shakes either. They wanted their little girl to be a star, they wanted fame and money and they got it at what expense. who has her daughter sell her teen pregnancy? they clearly don't have good judgment at the very least.
People shouldn't be critical of brit's parents. She is an adult and until she was deemed by the court to be a danger to herself and others, NO ONE could do anything medically for her. AND if you read the article, Jaime AND a lawyer have been named to make financial decisions-if you read other articles, this lawyer has done this type of work many times. And for criticising her parents taking control of the financial but not the medical, they will on monday after the paperwork gets filed. In the end, hopefully, Britney will be made to stay for at least 14 days in the hospital and she will be started in the right direction and realize that this is what she needed.
I think i'm one of the few, but i don't feel bad for Britney anymore. She's had a million chances to get it right and she's blown all of them. Basically it looks like after she quit touring and became a mother the press wasn't as in love with her … so she's created her own bad press to get attention. Get that girl some counseling and a self-esteem!
