I l ived in Albuquerque for 5 years. The restaurants are great but the crime is even greater. If you value your children's lives, don't live there. It could be a wonderful place if they would do something about the gangs but Honoraria is rife and life is cheap.

I did not intentionally avoid her movies, they just seemed dull and uninteresting, just like Jessica herself. I wonder if Jessica even has a sense of self. I'm from Scottsdale and moved to Albuquerque about four years ago for my job, and yes, it does suck here. However, the Albuquerque metro area has a population of over 800,000. And because there is nothing to do here, most people go to the movie theaters. For this reason, for Alba to make those comments about Albuququerque is just plain stupid. No there aren't great amusement parks or things of that nature, so if your looking for that don't vacation here. If you enjoy museums, history, and culture then yes it is a good place to visit. I am leaving this comment because I am one who CAN comment about Albuquerque because I am from there as well as traveled and lived all over the country. I have my degree in Hospitality and Tourism, and have experienced what it is like to live in almost every part of the country and I would never make negative comments about a city, because no place is perfect. Has anyone ever heard of the phrase - if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all.
All of you people who hate it here so much get the F out! I do not understand why people comment about how awful it is here and stay???? Ask locals there are plenty of great places to eat. It just shows how ignorant she is. And if is wasn't for her looks she would be where she is cause she SUCKS at acting!
I am a proud resident of Albuquerque, NM and have been for more than 15 years. This may not be L.A. but we have some of the most beautiful landscaping i have ever seen, and there is nothing like a New Mexico sunset. If you weren't so stuck up and superficial you might be able to take in the beauty of our "boring little town" and see that there is more to life than spending money and sticking your nose up at people less fortunate than you. I'll have you know at one time I very much enjoyed your work but at this point I will never endorse your work nor will I EVER pay to see you in ANY film, and I sincerely hope you never work in this town again!
