The Los Angeles Police Department were called to Britney's house on Friday after her parents discovered several items missing.
Lap top? Sex tapes? Yes! Yes!
After Spears' father Jamie won legal control over Brit Brit at an emergency hearing Friday, he and ex-wife Lynne returned to the house "shocked" to find valuable items of their daughter's "had been stolen."
They called the cops and filed a report.
Spears' folks believe that items were taken after their daughter was taken to the UCLA Medical Center early Thursday morning.
Gesssh, who do you think would have had access to Brit's house that might want to remove a few things???
WHO could it possibly be????
Now that he's been granted conservatorship of his daughter, Jamie Spears can change the locks of her house and remove anyone who is staying there until the next hearing - this Monday.
And, sources close to Brit's "manager" Osama Lutfi tell us he will contest the conservatorship and put up a fight in court.

Britney's parents don't seem like they deserve any 'parents of year' awards, but they are her PARENTS and back when they were involved in her life on a regular basis (remember, when at least SEEMED normal?) things seemed to be working out for her a whole lot better than they are now. Things have only gotten worse since Sam entered the picture and even if there's a chance it's not his fault, it's hard not to see it as more than just a coincidence that his entrance coincided with her major downfall. #1. Everyone knew where all the main players were when the theft happened. How could someone not expect this, the house was empty. She had hired no security and the world knew it.
The guard shack at The Summit should be able to tell if Sam came or went to her home during the possible theft window. This could put him suspect for sure. Lutfi is a piece of slime, but he is not stupid (con men rarely are).
I think a couple of robbery suspects saw an opportunity and took it.

I agree with you #149 - Sam has obviously had a huge part in her downfall, and I do think he fed her drugs, crazy ideas, etc. to keep her under his control. He deserves to be jailed. He saw that she was unwell and has taken complete advantage. If he cares about her so much, as he claims, he wouldn't be calling in to TV shows, the radio, etc. and talking about her and her family. He wouldn't have let her get so far gone. Thank God her father has stepped in and taken the reins. I don't believe her family wants her money, they are trying to protect her. I think they had to wait this long to step in because Britney had to deteriorate further so that they could legally take control. There was nothing they could do until now. I hope she is finally getting the help she needs and that now her dad will be able to get rid of all the vermin in her life, so that when she is released none of these bad influences are still around.
