Jessica "Don't Call Me Latina" Alba has another dud on her hands!
The actress, who can't open a film, may have happy baby news but she won't be thrilled to learn that her new film, The Eye, has failed at the box office.
Despite major promotion from Alba, her movie is projected to only take in $12-15 million this weekend on 2436 screens in the U.S.
By comparison the new Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana 3D concert film is expected to take in a WHOPPING $25-30 million for Friday - Sunday. AND, that movie was only released on 683 screens in theaters across the country!
The Hannah Montana movie has set a new record for biggest opening of a concert film and a 3D movie.
Poor Jessica!
She should take a nice LONG maternity break!

I took my little sister and Niece to see Hannah Montana this weekend and I actually liked it =) I thought it was really cute. I never got the hype about her but after seeing her movie I think she is a good role model for little girls. Regardless of these so-called bad pictures of her on the internet (which I dont think are bad AT ALL) She seems like a down to earth girl. I would Definately recommend this movie if you are able to get tickets. ♥
well nothing can really compeate with hannah montana, the millions of kids that love her and their desperate parents who couldn't get tickets for the actual concert.

i can't believe this! they made a remake of the eye (which is an awesome chinese horror and was only made a few years ago) and with jessica alba in it. i really don't have anything against her but COME ON she isn't the type of actor to be in a good horror like this, she is too much a actress who is only in movies to look hot or in romantic movies, not a good horror like this! but it isn't really her fault, it's those dumb asses that decided to remake a good chinese horror. really the movie buisness needs to learn to stop remaking films even if they are in another language, just fricken dubb them if you want them to appeal to a wider english speaking viewers.
