All you envious people out there admit it - she did a great job.If that old hag Madonna had done the same song with the same choreography you would pee your pants with excitement!!Shows exactly how stupid and envious you are!!!Get a life!!I'm sure that at least 90% of all you people critizising her so unfairly are as fat and pathetic as Perez is.And this age thing all the time - typically American.Let's hope YOU couchpotatoes look that good and are that fit once you reach that high age….if at all!!!!!!!

Hey, at least it was better than Brittany's VMA performance, and Brittany is half Paula's age!!! I thought the lipsynching was obvious, but she danced and performed like a pro! (and, I'm not really a Paula fan in general, I just think give credit where credit is due)
Wonderful performance! i loved it.
I think Paula did great! AMAZING really since it was the first time she was up on a stage in like 13 years. I would have peferred her to be the half time performance, I was very bored with Petty and Keys.

it was a great comeback. it was a bit subdued, I mean, we all know Paula is capable of more high energy dancing than this. but it was great start! give her a few more performances and she will be even better! now i want to see her music video, perez needs to post it as soon as its available hehe

Not as bad as it could've been, still not as a great as vintage paula. If anyone here is too young to remember, check out Paula's video for Cold Hearted Snake. I imagine its on Youtube somewhere. Paula used to be a brilliant dancer/choreographer.
i loved her! and she seems to really enjoy this. she doesnt seem to enjoy idol too much anymore so this is great for her.

I think there is no reason to bash Paula because she was lip synching. First of all, Jordin sparks and alicia keys were doing it too! And Paula obviously put her emphasis on the performance. she did a great job, especially considering it was her first time on a stage in ages!

Oh, just be happy for the woman. Back in the day she used to rock it on stage, and she's not half bad over a decade later. At least she's doing something other than American Idol, which is clearly not the show it used to be. NOT A TRAINWRECK. there is nothing about this performance, a performance which is Very watered down for Paula's own standards, that can described as trainwreck. trainwreck would have been paula looking like she was falling asleep, or messing up some dance moves. but she didnt. she performed her routine very well.

It was her first performance since 1995- she did a beautiful job!! after a few more apparences I bet she will have her old, very difficult and energetic, dance style back. This was just her start! People need to keep that in mind! it was not THE Paula performance (they wouldnt have wasted it at the pre-game if it was), it was only the beginning! maybe IGB will be next?
