I don't know what performance you were looking at perez but that shiz was hott! and they did do some closeups! she's making a come back and it's sooo much better then britneys!! don't be a hater perez!

yeah the dancing was a bit toned down compared to her old performances where she is just dancing like crazy. but thats understandable, it was her first performance in over 10 years! I really hope she continues with this, because she is capable of even more!
Yes the song blows and yes she was obvioulsy lipsynching but girlfriends still got the moves! I think she did an excellent job putting on a performance for her fans. Go Paula!

this was a gr8 performance! truly gr8! Sure, her old VMA performance was better but then she was like 25 years old, now she is 45 and has not performed in like 10 years. she did AMAZING compared to everyone else. very good comeback.

i thought it was great,
and the lip syncing, jordin and alica keys where also lip syncing, the right after jordin did the NA you could buy it on itunes the same version hmmmm plus her mouth movement was sometimes off with the words lol. same with alica when she did no one you could tell she was lip syncing and hell they weren't even dancing,
i love the paula split in the air, she is in great shape

you need to keep a few things in mind when you watch this performance. Paula is 45, she has still horrible pain and many health problems, she has not performed since 96.. yet she works this stage like she had never been away from it! she did GREAT
Considering she was around when I was a teen and that I am almost 38 now, I say she was hot. Much better that half these so called pop stars we have no. GO PAULA!!!!! I liked it very much.

It wasnt a train wreck! not even close to a trainwreck. I thought it was a great comeback. It was a good performance but theres definitely room for improvements! which is good, if she was PERFECT right away, she would have had only one way to go after this, and that was Down. now she can be even better in a few months time!

She obviously thinks there's NO talent from American Idol to compete with so she has given it a shot… it's a catchy pop song but for someone who can sit and judge people on their performances, why on earth would she lip synch… just proves she isn't as talented as she thinks.

Haters, please give the woman a chance. She's a performer, not Sandi freaking Patty! To me, this is far better than some of the pure carp that is currently available. It's a POP song. The last time I checked, one of the variable characteristics of a pop song is that it is light, fun and has a good beat that you can dance to. No, Paula is not in her 20's any more, but doing lifts like the one at the beginning and all the movement she was doing, I think she deserves major props. Welcome back to the pop charts, Paula!

i dont care about her lip-synching, every1 does it. the only reason anyone would even comment on paula doing it is because she is a judge. well paulas own career has ALWAYS been about the performance, not the singing. she knows she is the total package and not a brilliant vocalist, shes never pretended to be anything else. btw, sparks was lip synching too.
