I don't think it was that bad, yeah she lipsynched it, but she had energy, and she can dance very well. I think people are picking on her…simply because she is Paula Abdul. She is an easy target. I would this performance a 8/10, do not at all see it as a "train wreck."

i actually think she did great! who cares about the lip syncing, does anyone sing live at the superbowl? there's so much that could go wrong with the audio and the mics, it makes sense to lip sync, get over it. the bottom line is, she was entertaining. and unlike a certain other celebrity comeback performance, paula seemed to actually know where she was and what she was doing…and it looked like she actually practiced her routine once or twice and she looked fabulous doing it. so maybe the track is "enhanced" amd her dancing not quite what it used to be, she's still better than most of the poptarts making "music" these days!!

ya'll are so harsh. yes, her performance wasn't all that great. but she tried. and as far as her moves are concerned…she did a pretty decent job considering she broke her back or something back in the day. she can't move like she used to and that's why. lighten up.

It wasn't a train wreck. She's twice the age of some of these other non-singing hoes, and at least she performed and had some energy. She actually did really well. She was always a good performer and put on a good show.

The Spicey ones lypsynched and they just stood there in front of their mikes. You're a hard one to please. Re: jean – I totally agree. What was the last HIT that Tom Petty had? I mean, yes, he's a SUPERSTAR, but not very current. He looked better than I've ever seen him…BOTOX, I suspect and for once, his hair actually looked healthy, assuming it was HIS hair. The crowd seemed to really did him and his band, so I guess that worth alot. As for TV entertainment…pretty good, but Paula should have been part of the Half-Time entertainment…not after the game. I'm glad she did it…she'll get a year of free publicity from this one performance…can't wait to hear what the girls on THE VIEW have to say about the whole thing. GO PAULA GO…I'd really like to see you do more dance videos with hot muscular shirtless young guys…Hell, let them do the moves…you can just stand there and shake your head left and right…It works for me.

Re: smledoc – A close friend of mine is a RN who works for Paula's pain doctor. She has terrible back pain 24/7. The only way she can dance at all is to have an IV right before going on stage. Once the morphine kicks in, mixed with her natural adrenaline and talent…it's the real deal. Paula is such a pro that even with the pain and morphine, she mixes benzedrine for focus and energy. There's nothing illegal about her medicating…it's all approved and just look at the results. Chronic pain can really get you down. Take care of yourself and see your doctor soon.

I liked her performance, yes she wasn't really singing, but the dance moves were hot, and at least she knew the lyrics to her song….unlike B.S.

I grew up idolizing Paula as a dancer and I am so happy for her that she's doing this. Did you see her face and how genuinely happy she looked at the response "Forever Your Girl" got. Damn people, stop hating and be happy for people when they are obviously doing what they love. Oh and btw, Paula can still move.
