I liked it! I used to love Paula Abdul! I still do and am thrilled she is back1
i actually like the song! the performance was kinda corny, but im happy for her! 10 times better than britney spears that's for sure!

As fucked up as the music biz is now we expect a "dance" artist like this to lip synch and that's why I don't go to see them. My thing is why even have a microphone by your face at all. More power to her but when I go to a concert, I want to see real musicians and real singing or you WILL return my money. Too bad most people who don't know any better, don't give a shit.
I thought she did really good! I enjoyed it! But I did notice the lipsyncing!
Did anyone notice that Paula was wearing the exact same outfit (tiny top hat included) on the red carpet at the Super Bowl as she wore in the performance, even though it was pre-recorded days earlier? I guess it was a lame attempt to make it look like she just finished performing before the interview. Did they really think they were fooling anyone with that?
Outfit aside, I still love Paula, and I'm glad she's coming back. I have been waiting for her to perform on Idol for 7 seasons, and this just may be the year!!
i don't really care for the song.. but the performance wasn't bad! perez, love ya, but regardless of the quality of the performance, i'm pretty sure you would've picked on her! i can't believe how well she can move for her age! go paula, go!
Well, I thought she did Very good! I liked it…And it was even cool to see Randy Rockin out in the back with the band!
Am I alone in thinking that was….totally hot!? Really, the woman has not performed like that in a decade and she's back in Laker Girl form!! She could give some of those young skanky bitches like Assly Tisdale and Hannah Montana a run for their money. Go Paula! And just as a disclaimer….I've seen her show on Bravo and agree that she is a complete mental patient, but all that aside, the performance was a 10.
Oh yeah, for all you haters talking about her lip syncing… very few performers actually sing live when they have to dance like that, even the 20-somethings. It takes impecable physical shape to be able to sing and dance on point at the same time.
Try it sometime… if any of you assholes actually can sing or dance! Better yet, go to YouTube and type in "Shakira MTV Awards" and watch her try to sing Hips Don't Lie while doing some of her signature moves. She sounds tired and completely out of breath. There are countless others, besides her.
The point is: It's much more difficult than it may seem, and if YOU can't do it, leave Paula the fuck alone. She's 100x more talented and successful than any of you bitch ass wannabes will ever even aspire to be.
People are so threatened by age…..instead of giving her credit for putting on a better performance than girls half her age..people want to put her out to pasture…its inspiring to someone of her age doing what she does!!!! STOP HATING!!!!!

It's what I expected. I enjoyed it. She was never known as a concert performer. Chick was straight to video. I say give it to her, she had the moves and it was a pretty cool song.
