I'm not a smoker and I don't like to be around smoke, because I'm allergic, but I'm so tired of seeing smokers being treated like second class citizens. It's not against the law to smoke. Excessive drinking causes just as many health problems as heavy smoking.
I'd rather share the road with a person who just smoked a pack as opposed to some douche that just drank a case of beer. Why aren't we labeling people as filthy/murderous drinkers? Being around second-hand smoke a handful of times will NOT give you cancer, but it only takes a few seconds around a drunk driver to put you in the ground.

Health insurance costs are higher partly because of obesity. I am not a big fat cow, yet I have to pay higher premiums because of those people who stuff themselves (see how that affects ME now??)
Special accommodations are made all the time for fat people, driving costs higher and minimizing what is available for others (i.e. - bigger seats on planes and movie houses)
