We Support Hillary Clinton!!!

Not that our opinion matters (any more than yours). Nor do we expect that we will influence your vote in any way, but….
Today is Super Tuesday and we feel it is our duty to publicly endorse Hillary Clinton to be the Democratic candidate that will be the next President of the United States.
As we have previously stated, Hillary wasn't our fist choice. We were initially swayed by the promise of change and the inspiring messages of Barack Obama.
But that's not enough!
After careful consideration and much research, we have come to the informed decision that Hillary is the right candidate for us.
We feel more confident with Hillary's abilities to lead and her proven track record of experience. But, more so than that, HER plans for universal healthcare, education reform and emphasis on equality for all are more aligned with what we want in the next President.
We watched the debates and Clinton just won us over.
Barack is great. But Hillary is the better leader, for us.
However, Obama MUST stay in the picture. This country needs him, just as we need Clinton.
It's been a great and heated campaign thus far, but we sincerely hope when it comes time for the Democratic convention that the Clinton/Obama dream ticket will be a reality!

Universal Healthcare sounds great… but in reality.. it isn't. Waiting times and lists for certain medical procedures will sky rocket.. and the care may not be as great as before. I agree with Obama.. he wants to make it affordable.. but not at the extreme level as Hillary.
Maybe if the Clintons hadn't been such assholes to Obama, that ticket might have been a possibility.

What has Hillary ever done to garner that she is ready to be President? How about Obama for that matter? Hillary was first lady and has been a senator. She hasn't done squat while a senator. Obama is a FIRST term senator, hasn't had a chance to do anything. He does talk the big talk and does have a ton of charisma but thats it. As far as Universal Healtcare goes, its not EVER going to happen. The country is to populated and health care system to screw up already to ever make a universal system viable.

For all of you that support Universal Healthcare - that is scary. Do you understand how that system works? I have friends in Canada who DESPISE their healthcare system. Why would we want to partake in that? Getting the government more involved is the opposite of what we need to do.

I'm not a usual reader of your blog so I don't know whether this post is meant to be an off-the-cuff sort of thing, but I believe your endorsement contains a spelling error ("fist" should be "first") as well as a number of grammatical mistakes. I mention it only because it seems like good spelling and grammar are pretty strong prerequisites for taking your professional opinions as journalists and opinion makers seriously - in other words, you might want to proof-read this one post more time.

Your dream ticket? Ain't happening. I have an almost-unhealthy knowledge of politics, and the odds of this combo ticket are slim to none. There's a lot of animosity between these two that stands to be around behind the scenes for a while. Plus, I think Obama knows that he'd just be left on the outside as VP. Hillary Said the reason why she failed health care was because it did not go through the Republican party. Go to her website www.hillaryclinton.com and read her health care plan. She learned from her mistake so that she knows how to implement it now.
My husband is active duty Military and we are BOTH voting for Hillary. She has the experience, power and the know how to heal our country as well as our standings all over the world. She has been a strong advocate for women and children for a good part of her life. She is a strong woman and will be an excellent Commander in Chief!

The other poster was right about the healthcare industry being a campaign contributer. AND if people research the healthcare issue, you will find most doctors do not like private insurance either. Insurance compainies negotiate Doctor's fees before they pay and sometimes don't agree to pay at all. Our pediatrician just got dropped from our insurance company and so did our local immediate care center. Believe me, do you think the doctors really wanted to get dropped? Do you think they really want to negotiate their fees with a 3rd party as well? It is an f-ed up system that only benefits the insurance companies and their shareholders. PLEASE research research research. B.O. is the way to go!!!
