We Support Hillary Clinton!!!

Not that our opinion matters (any more than yours). Nor do we expect that we will influence your vote in any way, but….
Today is Super Tuesday and we feel it is our duty to publicly endorse Hillary Clinton to be the Democratic candidate that will be the next President of the United States.
As we have previously stated, Hillary wasn't our fist choice. We were initially swayed by the promise of change and the inspiring messages of Barack Obama.
But that's not enough!
After careful consideration and much research, we have come to the informed decision that Hillary is the right candidate for us.
We feel more confident with Hillary's abilities to lead and her proven track record of experience. But, more so than that, HER plans for universal healthcare, education reform and emphasis on equality for all are more aligned with what we want in the next President.
We watched the debates and Clinton just won us over.
Barack is great. But Hillary is the better leader, for us.
However, Obama MUST stay in the picture. This country needs him, just as we need Clinton.
It's been a great and heated campaign thus far, but we sincerely hope when it comes time for the Democratic convention that the Clinton/Obama dream ticket will be a reality!

Universal healthcare is a pipe dream. Hillary's plan forces EVERYBODY to buy it whether they can afford it or not. Maybe if you're a wealthy person that's a great idea, but she has no idea what it is to live on a budget, and then be FORCED to shell out more money you don't have for her plan. Then if you don't pay, you get your wages garnished or fined for not succombing to her plan. This is the SAME crap plan she wasted $400 million dollars on in the early 90's and it NEVER got off the ground. The last thing the U.S. needs is another Clinton in the White House
If they do not run together it will prove they are just running on their own egos. If they do ( and their should be NO hesitation if they have genuine desire to help change America for the better) it shows they care more about the bigger picture than themselves.

How is Clinton for equality for all more than Obama? Both are pro-civil union, anti-gay marriage (and Mr. Clinton, if you recall, is an architect of 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'). The only candidate who was really speaking up about equality was John Edwards, and unfortunately, he's not longer an option.
I see Clinton as pro-Clinton, pro-Democrat, and pro-bipartisanship. After eight years of bickering, nastiness, and harsh division, I want someone in office who will bridge these divides and shrink them. And Clinton has no chance of doing that.
What makes you think universal healthcare will work? Name one government run program that isn't broken? social security, public schools, tax system etc. Get the government out of our lives. Lower the tax burden and give people the right to make their own choices. I don't want government choosing anything for me. Hilary wants government to choose EVERYTHING for you…and she wants to give your hard earned money to the slackers of the world. What does she call it….oh yeah…SHARED PROSPERITY….I don't think so!

While I deeply admire Hillary, as an RN I know her health care proposition will never work. If you remember back to Bill's first term, Hillary was in charge of the committee initiating Universal Health Care for every American. It was nothing short of a universal disaster that she could not even get off the ground after two solid years of hard work trying. Sadly, she is again trying to initiate the exact same plan that did not work the first time. Obama is much better prepared to deal with the health care crisis in our country and has a better plan to do so.

Universal healthcare is a horrible, horrible plan. I don't think anyone realizes the effects of it. Yes, it's good to provide healthcare to everyone, but socializing medicine isn't the way to go about it. If you do that, doctors are going to be given shifts, like 9-5 and will get a standard payment for their shift. With that, where's their motivation to see more patients? Patients will be pushed back to months and in the end no one will be seen within a reasonable time. This is already the case in many countries and will be the case here unless someone else is elected.
