    HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT!!!!

  7. OMG says – reply to this

    207

Actually, expedite used in her sentence would be correct:

    3. to issue or dispatch

Maybe you all need an English lesson or something.

  8. ham says – reply to this

    208

Excuse me but how is she wrong here?
    Expedite
    2. process fast and efficiently
    To execute quickly and efficiently

  9. Sara says – reply to this

    209

I don't like responding on Blogs, but I've had enough of this. As a student ( double majoring in Political science and economics) and as a young American voter, I am astounded at the lack of knowledge that is being shown in this race.
Sure, I'm voting for Hilliary because she's a woman. I want my cousins, nieces, daughters and every other little girl out there to know that A WOMAN CAN BE PRESIDENT TOO! AND NOT JUST BECAUSE SHE'S A WOMAN! Hilliary clearly illustrates the know how to run a country and make the tough decisions that need to come.
So I ask you Beth, if Barack Obama was so against the invasion of Iraq, why didn't he exercise his right as a United States Senator to VOTE AGAINST IT! The answer was simple. He didn't want to lose voters by voting for it. He also didn't want to be on the losing end of the deal if it indeed worked out.
In short, Perez, I think you're doing the right thing. You have educated yourself and made your decision. I hope everyone that reads your website understands that you're not forcing opinions or making judgements, you are show them that in order to make the correct decision you need to educate yourself and back up your decision. Even if your decision is not Hilliary.

Thats a stupid reason to vote for someone- because they said something first. It's like elementary school- jinx! Base! What's next?

Whoopie, I want a million dollars. Now there, I said it first, so give me the damn million dollars.

    Idiot!

  12. Over this bullshit says – reply to this

    212

Why is it if a black person vote for obama they are voting for him because he is black and not the issues? Maybe they are voting for the issues..and they like where he stands…I guess people are voting for McCain and the others because they are white and male…please stop the maddness and let people vote for whoever they want without other's bitching..I thought that was the great thing about America we are free to vote for whoever we want.

  13. Stop people says – reply to this

    213

I dont' understand all this experience people talk about hillary having…so if my husband is a doctor, I will make a better doctor then those who spouses are not? If my husband is a lawyer I can be a better lawyer??? It does not make sense..

  14. Howard says – reply to this

    214

Obama has been compared to MLK and JFK. He has been deemed "the chosen one" by Oprah. People say he is honest and forthright. But, what is really known about him? What has he done for his people that he's been given such high praise? What civil rights marches has he led? What programs for the underpriviledged has he put into motion? Who is Oprah to choose anyone? Remember, she unleashed Dr. Phil and Rachael Ray on us. She also supported that plastic surgeon who operated on Kanye's mom and he doesn't even have a license.
It's so easy to project our hopes and desires into someone who so little is known about. I'm not willing to trust running this country and making important decisions about the future to someone I can only hope will live up to the expectations I can only imagine he embodies. Right now is not the time for Obama to test the waters. Give him 8 years as Hillary's Vice President and then he'll be more than ready.

  15. Molested by Michael says – reply to this

    215

Uneducated? Racist? Uncle Tom? Wow all you Obamites are really taking this pretty hard. Read your comments and see how hateful you've become. All of this animosity is divisive and unproductive. This will only bite you all in the end. Hillary got an endorsement, big deal. Oprah, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry all endorsed Obama, and that didn't help him at all. Kennedy and Kerry promised Obama Massachusets, but they didn't deliver. So endorsements really don't mean that much. The issues and experience are what matters. GO HILLARY 08!

  16. oh nice going Whoopi says – reply to this

    216

Don't even vote for someone of your own race… shame on you Whoopi!!

  17. hahaHHA@ YOU says – reply to this

WOW.. a black person voting agains their race.. i cannot believe it!!! it's kinda sickening how all these black women are voting for obama! of course it has to do with race! PLEASE!

  18. Bad News Hillary says – reply to this

    218

So, how will Hillary do now that Obama has taken the most delagates in Super Tuesday? The calendar is her enemy. Now that more than half the states have weighed in, there is a fairly predictable formula for determining who is most likely to win the upcoming contests.

In caucus states, Obama’s organizational strength shines: He has won seven of eight. Up next are three more caucus states, Washington, Nebraska and Maine.

Obama also runs tremendously well in states with large African-American populations, another promising sign since next Tuesday’s three primaries are in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia — all of which have significant percentages of black voters.

Then comes another caucus state, Hawaii, where Obama is viewed as a native son.

So it couldn’t be any clearer as to why the supposedly inevitable candidacy is anything but — even when she’s supposedly winning.

  19. Stella says – reply to this

    219

People are very impressed by the speeches of Hillary Clinton. Know that she has a myrad of professional counsellors who write these impressive speeches for her. They are experts in HOW TO MANIPULATE PEOPLE psychologically and unconsciously and how to make them feel enthousiastic and excited about the ideas she's presenting. It's cold calculated manipulation. Every movement of her hands and her arms, every tone of her voice (so that it becomes more inspirational and convincing) is studied. She's litteraly TRAINED in it. Don't fall for these tactics. Listen to your heart. Look at the people, look straight into their faces, and feel what kind of person they are. That will not lead you astray and will help you to make the right choice. Words and speeches can be totally empty. Promises anyway.

So it couldn’t be any clearer as to why the supposedly inevitable candidacy is anything but — even when she’s supposedly winning.

PEREZ AND EVERYONE ELSE!!! HILLARY CANNOT WIN THE GENERAL ELECTION!!! She is too much of a polarizing figure for conservatives and independents. Whilte independents and some republicans have been flocking for Obama, they do not do the same for Hillary. A vote for Hillary is basically a vote for McCain and four more years of the same crap we have been dealing with for the past 7 years. Yes it is great she is a female but she is the wrong one for this point in time. GO OBAMA!

Please start voting on the issues. Hillary has solutions, Obama is all talk and charisma.

  24. Stella says – reply to this

    224

I forgot to say that those counsellors study all that is going on in the voters carefully. They determine what the wishes and hopes of the people are and integrate it into the speeches. That's what politics is about. Don't ever trust politicians based on what they say. It would be foolish. Trust ONLY that which you can feel BEHIND the words.

You Hillary people are all insane. You are NOT doing ANY research. BILL AND HILLARY ARE PRIMARILY RESPONSIBLE FOR NAFTA WHICH IS WHY ALL OUR JOBS ARE GOING OVERSEAS, YOU MORONS! Obama was against NAFTA from the start! It's soooo frustrating that Pigez and the rest of you Hilldabeest-ites can't take an hour to actually look into a candidate's history. I promise you - do ONE HOUR of research on Hillzilla's years of busting unions, working for WalMart and huge corporations, and taking assloads of money from lobbyists and special interests!

  28. Sam says – reply to this

    228

    Hey Katie:
Stop trying to use "scare tactics" in persuading someone to vote the way you are. You ever think the reason the "white independants and republicans" have backed Obama is because they know that he can't win the general election and they are "supporting" him now in delegate voting but not in the general election where it counts. It is common practice for some delegates to switch party sides (in the states that allow it) in order to have the candidate that they think is the easiest to beat become the party nominee. Just saying…

  32. Ohio for Clinton says – reply to this

    232

Re: Hillary Has Spoken – Yes and I own properties in both PA and OH - too bad I can't vote TWICE for HILLARY CLINTON!!! I can definitely speak for many many many relatives who are older, highly religious, highly right-winged, conservative, voted Republican all their lives - they will be voting for Clinton because they've done their research and listened to ALL of the candidates in all of the parties. Many communities in OH will be going the Clinton way because they are SICK of the Republican's dishonesty. Obama is not a choice - he is not viewed as someone with experience or who can get the job done; intelligent, well-read people can see through Obama's talk; they do not want inspiration and hope - there's no time left for that for the older people. They want to see ACTION ON DAY ONE. Hillary's the only choice and she repeatedly tells people what day her job begins: 1/20/2009.

It comes down to woman or niggah. Neither is going to happen; not in this lifetime. People are not comfortable enough with women running the country and certainly not going to let some black folk run the country. They cannot even get their people to act right most of the time. It would be a disaster as those niggah's would think they all own the country.

MARK MY WORDS……..READ MY LIPS………..IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. BEING THAT THE DEMOCRATS COULD NOT COME UP WITH A GOOD CANDIDATE — THE REPUBLICANS WILL TAKE IT AGAIN.

WOMAN OR NIGGAH — NEITHER IS APPEALING TO MOST OF AMERICA.

TO YES WE CANN! YOU CAN'T EVEN SPELL NIGGAH…EBONICS IS NOT WHAT AMERICA NEEDS. NO OBAMA NO EBONICS.

Shes an idiot!

  50. Joan says – reply to this

    250

Yeah Whoopi! Hillary was the first to talk about a lot of issues that now Obama is parroting off as his own ideas. Hillary has done the work and taken the risks, and Obama wants to benefit from the fruits of her labor. We won't get healthcare for everyone without Hillary. Check her website and you'll hear a father talked about how Hillary got a hospital to waive all costs to save his child's life. I'm tired of the "change" mantra — I want someone who has done good for others and a proven track record of doing so. Politics is not a "game" as Obama's wife maintains to Diane Sawyer, we need to start holding the government accountable for how they spend our tax money and the laws that take our jobs and put them overseas. Hillary is the one who will fight for us best.

You have got to be kidding me. First off, Perez is showing clips of the view as if any of those women have a clue about politics and what is really going on, and that includes Barb too. Second, who votes for someone because "they said it first", many of the candidates have the same ideas…gimme a break, and I don't care if it was mentioned 3 years ago or yesterday. Third, if you choose to vote for Hillary just because she is a woman, or for Obama because he is black, you really shouldn't be allowed to vote at all. Oh, the sleepless nights I have thinking of all ignorant americans who will vote for either of these candidates. Hopefully Republican men and women will out-number women, gays, and mexicans in november. If they do not, then don't whine about the president you voted for when your taxes are raised and illegal mexican immigrants are selling drugs to your sons and raping your daughters, while at the same time 2 guys are getting married in the name of God and a irresponsible women is aborting a child that will never expereince the life he/she was gauranteed. Hope you will be happy….oh and when those mexicans really start coming into your neighborhood and taking your jobs, don't complain, you asked for it. Also the ones that don't take your jobs will also be breaking into your homes, but don't maybe Clinton or Obama will let you use a knife or a baseball bat to defend yourself, cause guns will be illegal….

    - she was appointed chair of the Rural Health Advisory Committee where she successfully obtained federal funds to expand medical facilities in Arkansas' poorest areas without affecting doctors' fees.

    - One of the most important initiatives of the entire Clinton governorship, she fought a prolonged but ultimately successful battle against the Arkansas Education Association to put mandatory teacher testing as well as state standards for curriculum and classroom size in place.

    - She introduced Arkansas' Home Instruction Program for Preschool Youth in 1985, a program that helps parents work with their children in preschool preparedness and literacy.

    - As First Lady of the United States she took a very prominent role in public policy.

    - She was the initial first lady to hold a post-graduate degree and to have her own professional career up to the time of entering the White House. She was also the initial first lady to take up an office in the West Wing of the White House.

    - She visited over 80 countries as First Lady giving important speeches, about such controversial topics as human rights/women's rights in China.

    - As a Senator and after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Hillary worked with her colleagues to secure the funds New York needed to recover and rebuild.

    - She fought to provide compensation to the families of the victims, grants for hard-hit small businesses, and health care for front line workers at Ground Zero.

    - She is the first New Yorker ever to serve on the Senate Armed Services Committee.

    - She is an original sponsor of legislation that expanded health benefits to members of the National Guard and Reserves and has been a strong critic of the Administration's handling of Iraq.

    - She has introduced legislation to tie Congressional salary increases to an increase in the minimum wage.

    - She has supported a variety of middle-class tax cuts, including marriage penalty relief, property tax relief, and reduction in the Alternative Minimum Tax, and supports fiscally responsible pay-as-you-go budget rules.

    - She authored legislation that has been enacted to improve quality and lower the cost of prescription drugs and to protect our food supply from bioterrorism.

    - She sponsored legislation to increase America's commitment to fighting the global HIV/AIDS crisis.

    - She has lead the fight for the expanded use of information technology in the health care system to decrease administrative costs, lower premiums, and reduce medical errors.

    - Clinton has successfully worked to ensure the safety of prescription drugs for children, with legislation now included in the Best Pharmaceuticals for Children Act.

    - She has also proposed expanding access to child care.

    - Hillary is one of the original cosponsors of the Prevention First Act to increase access to family planning.

    - She fought with the Bush Administration and ensured that Plan B, an emergency contraceptive, will be available to millions of American women and will reduce the need for abortions.

    - She introduced the Count Every Vote Act of 2005 to ensure better protection of votes and to ensure that every vote is counted.

When Senator Clinton said she has been fighting for causes important to her for 35 yrs, she is VERY accurate. Her accomplishments are staggering. Those who are questioning her accomplishments, and the things she has fought for, should take a little history lesson.

Good for Whoopi for being true to her word! Obama's been cribbing all of Hillary's notes from day one.

He has most of the old guard on his team: Kennedy, Kerry, Daschle, Plouffe, etc. PLUS his campaign Chairperson is Penny Pritzker, who has a $16 BILLION fortune behind her to prop up Obama, not to mention the endorsement of Queen Oprah.

Obama calls himself the candidate of the grassroots, but the people managing him aren't. People who made $50,000 or less (plus women, Latinos and Asians from all income brackets) that voted for Clinton. Obama garnered most support from whites making $200,000 plus blacks (from all income brackets).

Boys and girls, it was BUSH who lied to the American people and the Senate about WMDs in Iraq. Senators Kerry, Edwards and yes, Clinton voted for it on false information. By then it was too late. Also, 68% of the American people also voted in favor for the war at that time. People were very afraid that the US would be attacked again.

Wake up people, and see that the rich and powerful are the ones pulling the strings to divide the Democratic party. Sometimes I feel that I'm watching a remake of "Trading Places".

HOW STUPID OF WHOOPI!!! To say whoever says such-and-such FIRST gets my vote. ANY of these fucking POLITICIANS will say anything to get a vote and then get into office and do NOTHING. Before you vote for someone, you should check their voting record. HILLARY voted for this IRAQ fucking war and now she changing her tune. OBAMA says I knew this Iraq war was a mistake BUT he can say that he wasn't in a position at the time to vote for it. HE WOULD HAVE voted for it though. How do I know? because his TOP ADVISORS are former BUSH/CLINTON advisors who promote war which have killed innocent civilians throughout 3rd world countries. Don't believe me? check out the facts on democracy dot com

Then go to January 3rd 2008 program.

STUPID FUCKING WHOOPI. Gave her vote to Hillary Clinton because she mentioned first China and jobs returning to US.

BUT STUPID BITCH. Her husband's CLINTON ADMINISTRATION is the reason that the jobs went out of this country to other countries like CHINA!!!! You stupid bitch.

CLINTON PUSHED THE NAFTA AND GATT BILL AND SIGNED IT
President Bill Clinton signed off on the North American Free Trade Agreement and the General Agreement on Trade & Tariffs in 1993, otherwise known as NAFTA/GATT, he quite literally slashed the economic throat of the United States. We've been hemorrhaging jobs to foreign nations like Communist China ever since.

companies are taking their labor out of the country because of government interference. not tax incentives. do you people realize how difficult it is to start, run, and NOT lose a business in the us? taxes, regulations, and constant government interference are what causes problems with businesses in america. i am talking about a small business in one city. i cant possibly think about what problems national businesses incur. if you want to listen to some old washed-up has been say she is voting for billary because of businesses are taking their companies out of the us, find out why. dont listen to these people. put some pressure on your representatives to ease up on businesses, not further create problems for them.
