In light of Britney Spears' current situation, Kevin Federline has decided to scrap plans for his 'life as a single dad' reality show.
The show's would-be producers have no comment, but a source from K-Fed's camp said he had been in talks with them for months.
The program was rumored to be aired on E!
This is refreshing news, though. Someone close to BritBrit who ISN'T exploiting her.

Mr. Federline, Great things will come your way because you are doing the right thing now by keeping a low profile, and putting your children first. Keep stepping up to the plate no matter how hard it is and you will gain the respect, credibility, and financial security for you and your children if you perservere and be patient. You are obviously a good man. What ever influence you may have PLEASE, PLEASE keep Britney away from Lufti. He is the Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead enabler and will do nothing but harm Britney, her finances, her health, and ultimately your children.

So, he loses out on a great income, by choice out of deference to Britney's sensitive situation, but will still be criticized for not 'getting a job'. You can please some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time. I don't know how they could film his life as a single Dad without putting those tots on camera anyway, and that's not the greatest idea, IMHO. He always seems to find something here and there.

It would have been interesting to see how he interacted with the kids. He probably could've used the money too! Good for him. I admire him for pretty much staying out of this whole thing. Brit clearly has issues: mental instability with a nice little substance abuse problem thrown in for good measure.
Because of these issues that she refuses to get help for, a judge rightly stripped her of custody.
At this point the only person NOT talking about Brit and NOT airing her dirty laundry is K-fed,nor have we seen him parade the kids around for the paps.
For all accounts from K-feds ex,whatever else he may be ,he is a good and attentive parent.
All the other players in this drama have acted badly and exploited a person who needs help..it's outrageous.

I fail to see how a man who's been in talks for *months* isn't "exploiting" Britney. He got custody, when…four weeks ago? His entire marriage was an exploitation of his wife, her name, her fame, her house (remember the Weedman?) her money (can anybody say, Ferrari 360?), and her record contacts (can anybody say "failed rap album"), so cashing in by trotting those two poor kids out for the cameras is just another in a long line of ways he's used her to make a living. Just because she imploded and he didn't, it doesn't make him any more responsible than he was before. It just makes him the QUIETER of the two.
