As of the afternoon, the former pop star was spotted in her car.
Yes, she's on the streets again.

Oh, God…here we go again. There is NO way in hell she is weel enough or stable enough to be out - just by her 'driving around town' is proof positive that she is going back to her ways. How long till Sam Lufti is arrested for violating his restraining order? I give it till Thurs by 10 pm. I have a feeling something BIG is going to go down by the end of weekend - ie: an arrest, jail, another hospitalization, an accident, or a death. God help her.

A couple of days ago, the doctors claimed she had no clue, yet she's out today and now driving around? What the hell is wrong with California hospitals anyway? She needs way more time in a psych ward than a week. How long before it's the same old crap all over again…paps swarming her, faux British accents and regular gas station and hotel stops? It's tiring and too emotionally draining to continue to watch this circus. it will be a miracle she doesn't end up a suicide by the end of the year.
LOL! I told you she would kick and scream her way out of the nuthouse, just like she did the first time. They are no doubt TERRIFIED of lawsuits, especially when she says Daddy doesn't represent her. Brit's fans are going to have to find a new scapegoat of the week to blame for her going right back to everything she did before.
where her parents with her when she was released? The hospital notified them, I doubt the parents let her go alone. She has no control over anything anymore.. Who was home waiting for her? Her parents I hope. Did they hire security too? I doubt she is alone, her parents must be with her.. what parent would let her out on her own?
Too bad, we all know that a tragic ending is coming for her soon — and it seems no one can do anything to stop it. A shame, and very, very sad for her family. I feel for the mom, dad and sister.

what are you guys blaming her parents? The hospital HAS TO release her if they determine she's no longer a danger to herself. Her parents have no say. Hopefully, they'll be able to CONVINCE her to go to an outpatient facility for further treatment, but, really Britney is an adult woman, not a child, and her parents can't force her to.
Why does this site always refer to Britney as the "former" pop star. She did very well on her Blackout album considering even Aleisha Keys didn't sell nearly what she was expected to sell and Britney didn't even have a publicist. Come on give her a break!

After suffering with my own recent issues, I wouldn't be surprised if we learn that Britney suffers from Borderline Personality Disorder. When someone with BPD doesn't have a sense of self, they tend to take on the personalities of people around them. Not to mention, her violent outbursts, feelings of ups and downs, abandonment ect..
I wish her the best and hope that she gets her life back on track, I know how difficult it can be.

Sadly, once a patient is considered "stable" and if they answer "No" to the question, Do you hear voices, want to do harm to yourself or others?, they are discharged if they are of legal age. Folks, don't be so hard on her family because they are most likely at wit's end and feel their hands are tied to be able to keep her in treatment. My family has been down this road with my brother. I once asked the doctors how do they really know the patient is honest in answering the questions or do they tell them what they want to hear just because they want to go home! They then give you the look like you're nuts and don't you realize we're inundated with people with mental health issues.

Listen, here is why she is out - Because she is a drug addict, not a crazy person. They can hold crazy people, not druggies, even though the drugs were making her act crazy. See? Even with Sam gone, she is in great danger, she is conpletely addicted to meth, pills, laxatives, etc. If she doesn't enter rehad within a week or two, I think she die of an overdose or car accident.
