Lack of shame is a sign of a personality disorder not a mental illness. Have any of you ever heard of a mentally ill person with an obsession to show their naked crotch to strangers? Or sleep with stalkers? Or talk in a british accent? I've seen plenty of untreated mentally ill homeless people in my time and none of them do this, mostly they just babble to themselves and stare. Britney is not mentally ill, that's why the hospital let her out. They saw it was all drama queen bullshit.

Those who suffer from it go into manic phases where they can't sleep or sit still and during these manic phases, it is not at all unusual to see them dress provocatively, pile on makeup inappropriately etc. and sleep with multiple, inappropriate partners. The other phase is depression. They swing back and forth between mania and depression and the different phases also conicide with different seasons.

Hope she is sent back to the hospital or to a treatment facility - one that is out in the counrtyside somewhere would be better so she could get some air and have some space and privacy. I really want to see her get better but she wont be able to until she wants to get better and sticks to a treatment plan for the long term. Hopefully her Dad and co can talk sense into her - how she ever thinks she can regain any custody of her sons with all this craziness is beyond me, but if she gets treatment UNTIL SHE IS BETTER and kicks all the users out of her life and leaves her family and old and good friends in then she can only come back ALL THE WAY UP. I do agree that the media take it too far, I have a mental illness and I couldn't cope with the wole world seeing me being carted off in restraints to the nut house. But at the same time we're all here interestedin whats happening to her. So I guess there should be a balance between the lengths the media goes to and the amount of Privacy she has. Its really sad! But she needs to accept help.

Honestly - my opinion of her has totally changed.

I'm getting quite an education on how a Star can work the media and the public…This could go on for ever. What kind of hospital would let her leave if the parents have guardianship? I'm so tired of this…at least she's still breathing, but I'm not sure anyone's home. Mr. Perez, if you stopped posting stuff about her for just one week, do you think it would help and would you lose revenue from the ads in such a short period of time. I think this is actually important. It shows the huge problems with dealing with the mentally ill. The ACLU allows the mentally ill to make their own "choices." But, in court cases the mentally ill are often found not guilty because of insanity. It would appear they are too insane to commit crimes yet sane enough to make medical choices?
Forget National Healthcare (google the boy in the u.k. that was determined deaf but only had cotton in his ear for 10 years. It popped out and hearing was completely restored…yea national healthcare is great, not!) , we need insurance reform AND medical reform.

You don't need to be a qualified psychologist to have an opinion on what's going on with this girl - just a brain and a bit of life experience. Most doctors go into the job for the prestige and the money anyway; their main motivation isn't because they want to help people.
Hope Mum & Dad Spears can send her to rehab/mental health treatment centre while they still have the power to this next week. She REALLY needs long term help in order to even be able to THINK clearly. Not sure what Adnans motives are but no doubt he is mainly in it for the money (and stories he can sell) If Britney needs friends she REALLY should turn to her other famous friends as THEY would not be using her for money or fame since they already have it, and she should NOT even think about having a boyfirend at the moment until she is well again - and then again - go for someone also rich or famous so you dont have to worry about being used.
