As much as it pisses me off to agree with anything Perez says, in this case, I totally agree with him.
If you people saying how weird or ugly she looks had seen any of the recent fashion shows (Spring 2007, Fall-2007 for example) you would see that she is in many, many shows every season. She has a unique look that the designers love. And it is refreshing to see a model that doesn't look half dead from starvation. This girl can rock the runway.
And, a reminder for the folks discounting her due to the outfit worn here- She doesn't wear her own clothes in the shows, she wears what she is PAID to wear so it really is irrelevant what she is wearing on the way in. It is also entirely possible that she didn't choose this outfit, but that she is wearing it for a designer.
The again, maybe it is her FAVORITE outfit, and that's ok too- don't get your panites in an uproar about it, nobody is making you wear it. Or look at it.
There is room in the world for people not cut from the usual cookie-cutter mold.
Of course- you don't have to agree that she is a beauty, maybe she's not-everyone has their own opinion on that- but it is a fact that she is a very good model and is very successful.
