The sensational and untrue story claims that her superstar parents have increased security after discovering a chilling note threatening her safety left outside one of their homes.
But it's all lies, Poppa Pitt says!
"This is absolutely not true and reckless and dangerous to put these ideas out into the world," says Brad.

Thanks. Yeah, PH can be a cold and lonely place for “lovers” like you and me. Haters don’t care that what they say could indirectly influence some crazy to hurt others. In general, increased conditioning for violence (whether it's verbal, imagery or otherwise) causes desensitization and increases people's tendency to behave violently. At the very least, reading hateful, violent verbal assaults causes people to distrust others. All the effects are not calculable, but the danger it poses is real and harmful to society on a whole. As they say "What goes around comes around".

I admit that I’ve seen way too many Perez Hilton posts to claim that I don’t ever cuss or that I am completely innocent of any impure thoughts but what I said doesn’t even compare to some of the disturbingly sick and violent posts that are on here.
Penalty for crime or sin is a common, justified, and accepted concept in religion and justice systems. Life & Style deserve to be persecuted for printing such libel that puts crazy ideas into people’s minds and potentially harmful to these people’s safety.
Common sense? Braindead? Look beyond your nose? You don’t have to be so condescending and ignorantly judgmental about Angie fans. People admire Angie for different reasons not just the fact that she does charity work. For example, she seems fearless and I admire that fierceness about her. Nicole Kidman and George Clooney are other influential celeb philanthropists involved in global humanitarian affairs and have done “just as much” and possibly even “more”, that shouldn’t take away from what she does. Philanthropy shouldn’t be viewed as a competition; there isn’t an overabundance of it so the more the better.
Angelina gets more press partly because she is more of a controversial personality but you can’t deny that she has done bold and great things for charity, adopting kids and her UN work with displaced refugees. That’s just stating the facts. Her accomplishments are certainly deserving of people’s attention and praise, whether or not you like her or her causes. I’m not sure where you’re getting the idea that people inflate her work, I don’t see any fans making stuff up. Haters are the ones making things up or jumping to conclusions about her based mostly on speculation and nitpick about just exactly how much her charity work really amounts to when most of us will never really know.

I am willing to bet that most people who have a family of their own have an admiration for those who choose to adopt; we understand what a big responsibility and commitment it is (even with the help of nannies). Some of us are able to look past the mistakes she made as a young woman. She obviously was hurt as a child but she certainly didn’t hurt anyone so I don’t find that so hard to forgive. No one is perfect.
It seems very strange to me that Jon Voight is not close with any of his kids. If it’s unhealthy for her kids to be around him than I can understand why she couldn’t have a relationship with him, they weren’t close in the first place.
No one knows for sure if she’s a homewrecker but Brad must have been extremely unhappy to leave Jen.
My biggest concern about Angie is that she doesn’t seem to make the best choices for her family. IMO, I think she could use some advice in this area (esp. since she didn’t have a normal childhood, she might not know how to be a mother). She is too ambitious and works too hard. She has a big family now, it’s best for her family if she settles down a bit.

Celebrity worshippers who intensely monitor their favourite star are harming their own mental health because they prefer to adore their idol rather than face everyday stressful events.
Those who pursued this kind of worship, which involves feelings such as considering a favourite celebrity to be a soul mate or keeping pictures/souvenirs of a celebrity in a particular place, suffered poorer mental health including depression, stress or low levels of life satisfaction.
The researchers suggest this is because intense-personal worshippers use neurotic ways of coping, such as dealing with stress by disengaging and living in a state of denial. They do not deal effectively with everyday events and may actually spend time worshipping celebrities at the expense of dealing with such events.
Dr Maltby said: "Celebrity worship should not be a concern when carried out in moderation. However, for those individuals who worship celebrities for intense-personal reasons, there may be consequences for individual mental health.
"Those who engage in this form of celebrity worship are characterised as tense, emotional and moody and tend to withdraw from the world so they might be best helped by addressing their emotionality and being encouraged to stop withdrawing from stressful situations."
This belief puts me in the running for a new mental disorder — Celebrity Worship Syndrome, or "mad icon disease," which was discovered recently by Dr. John Maltby of the University of Leicester. Dr. Maltby's findings appeared in the Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease, and you want to believe him just for being in such a fabulously titled publication.
