Osama Lutfi's new publicist is talking smack about Kevin Federline.

"Kevin Federline needs to get on TV and say, 'I'm learning about Britney's bipolar disorder. He needs to step up to the plate and not hide behind the shield of his lawyer and be a man. He could become a hero instead of hiding.
He's the better parent, and he has the right to his own life. He's divorced, and if he's smoked pot, as reports have said, so be it. The kids are safe with him. But he's got to step up and help Britney. Don't hide behind your lawyer. He needs to learn and speak out so he can help his kids as they get older. People will become ultra sympathetic towards Britney as they learn about this illness.
Britney needs to be in a hospital for a year. She needs to see her kids. She needs to be in a nice atmosphere. This is overkill, it made my stomach turn. Every time we had to go into court, yes we have to protect the kids. But every mother, healthy or unhealthy should see their kids. In Britney's case, her parents need to let Sam Lutfi in her life and drop this. You can't blame someone for mental illness. Mark Vincent Kaplan needs to lay off. Everyone has to lay off! Before Britney dies accidentally.
As for Kevin's lawyer, "Mark Vincent Kaplan needs to lay off! I love him, but he needs to lay off Britney Spears, someone who has an illness.

Then the guy mention the restraining order that Sam is avoiding and thus admits that it is known about, apparently not what his client wants if he is hiding out to avoid it. This jackass seems to making a case against his client which is actually fine by me but seems counter productive if the guy is trying to make a bastard seem like a nice guy. I think Sam has gotten exactly the publicist he deserves…one that will help bring him to justice.

As a psychiatrist I have seen people like Sam Lufti too often - they are vultures and thank God her parents have a restraining order.
What I have to point out here is that having an illness is no excuse for irresponsible behaviour. Obviously along the way other doctors have found her to be an adult capable of making her own decisions - otherwise she would still be in hospital. Her decompensation to the point of needing conservatorship is a result of her own poor choices and character. She needs to take responsibility - our pity or sympathy or what have you will not make an iota of difference. Sam Lufti's agenda is to keep her from doing just that so he can keep controlling her.
I can't believe anyone would let her out of hospital at this point. California must be in great need of mental health law reform. I can see it now - after Britney dies they will come out with "Britney's Law" that will enforce treatment of incompetent mentally ill adults in the community.

When someone is insisting that someone else is mad, you have to question their own sanity. He is an abuser. He is obviously mentally abusing her.
