Osama Lutfi's new publicist is talking smack about Kevin Federline.
Michael Sands tells Life & Style:
"Kevin Federline needs to get on TV and say, 'I'm learning about Britney's bipolar disorder. He needs to step up to the plate and not hide behind the shield of his lawyer and be a man. He could become a hero instead of hiding.
He's the better parent, and he has the right to his own life. He's divorced, and if he's smoked pot, as reports have said, so be it. The kids are safe with him. But he's got to step up and help Britney. Don't hide behind your lawyer. He needs to learn and speak out so he can help his kids as they get older. People will become ultra sympathetic towards Britney as they learn about this illness.
Britney needs to be in a hospital for a year. She needs to see her kids. She needs to be in a nice atmosphere. This is overkill, it made my stomach turn. Every time we had to go into court, yes we have to protect the kids. But every mother, healthy or unhealthy should see their kids. In Britney's case, her parents need to let Sam Lutfi in her life and drop this. You can't blame someone for mental illness. Mark Vincent Kaplan needs to lay off. Everyone has to lay off! Before Britney dies accidentally.
As for Kevin's lawyer, "Mark Vincent Kaplan needs to lay off! I love him, but he needs to lay off Britney Spears, someone who has an illness.

Kevin could be considered a person who "triggers" Britany's mood swings, which would mean he needs to stay away until such a time as she is medically and psychologically stable. Her behavior became erratic during her time with him, so it is likely that having him involved right now is a terrible idea - NOT because Kevin caused this, but because he probably brings out emotions in Britany that are not helpful right not to her recovery.
I don't like same but I agree with everything in this statement 100%. Kevin needs to be helping the mother of his children and let her see them. It's only making her worse. She needs a lot of help and he needs to help her get if. He's the reason she is like this in the first place.

Coming from a person who has suffered and still suffers from Bipolerism I can totally sympathize with Britney…I believe it would be influential for Kevin to be a part of learning of this disorder and helping Britney…taking away her kids is not going to help…it will just make things worse. But at the same time this Lutfi guy (from what I can see) could have a negative affect on her. I dont know I just feel so sad when I see these things about Britney. As I said I can sympathize with her…but Im not the famous one…I couldnt imagine dealing with everything including the media being in so much pain.

Speaking as a mental health therapist who works with all types of mental illness I have a few questions.
1. Who diagnosed her as being Bipolar?
2. Is she Bipolar I or II. What are the specifiers (manic, hypomanic,others)
3. Is it drug induced? (combinations of drugs can cause different types of mood and psychotic episodes/disorders)
4. Where is Sam getting the "medication" from?
5. What medication is it? What are the dosages and how often is it taken?
6. Is she drinking while taking medication? How much? How often?
7. Is she using marijuana, cocaine, heroin or anything else with the "medication?"
And for everyone saying that she "needs" to be with her kids - would you leave your child or pet, whom you love, with a drunk person? Or someone popping Oxycotin? What about heroin?
People who are diagnosed as Bipolar, without medication and proper care, are disconected from reality. IF (big if because there is no proof so far) she has a mental disorder she shouldn't be around her children if she is stabilized on proper medication.
I sure as HELL would not let her near my kids or pets unless she had proper care.
