Britney Spears continues to be protected by a new bodyguard, a good thing. She's also being chauffeured around by a driver, another good thing.
Hopefully these little changes will make a BIG difference in her life.
Slowly, the mother of two seems to be returning back to "normal."
None other than our very own colorist and friend, Kim Vo, paid a visit to Brit Brit at her home on Thursday, where he lightened her hair up a bit. Maybe it's a reflection of a lightening mood in her life!
Spears quietly sneaked out of her home on Friday and went on a little shopping trip. She later hit up her favorite dance studio, Millennium, for some healthy exercise - a good thing.
Meanwhile, Brit's father, Jamie Spears, is taking his conservatorship of his daughter seriously and seriously trying to make sure she gets better (and making changes accordingly).
Poppa Jamie has fired Spears' business manager, Howard Grossman, presumably because of his buddy buddy relationship with the shady Osama Lutfi.
In other Britney developments, her lawyers at Trope & Trope have once again been asked to be removed from her custody case.
That will be determined at a hearing scheduled for March 10th.
The weekend is here now and hopefully Britney will take it easy. Take it easy, girl.

The Trouble With Britney Spears
Poor Britney couldn't handle the stress of the mega-fame for which she had been groomed. Fame, fortune, scandal all overwhelmed her to bring her down, turn her around and take her around the bend. Now she is in a loony bin where such people belong. Or so the media who goaded her along her desperate road would woo you into believing.
Is that all there is to the story?
Only the shallow could answer yes.
Where did Britney go wrong? How could a star who's known world wide by her first name fall so far and so hard? Did she just go nuts? Was she nuts from the beginning? Did she hold the seeds of psychosis inside her ready for the paparazzi to water and fertilize? (And weed and till the soil and spray with insecticide and anti-fungal agents and cuddle in a fetal position to protect from any harm, etc. etc.)
Only the uninformed and unobservant could say yes with conviction.
Did it strike you as strange? Did you wonder at the strange behavior when it first began? Did it horrify you when strange things began to come out of her mouth? Even if you were one of the Britney bashers, didn't you feel a sense of loss as she slipped below the line of integrity to a point so that you could no longer point and laugh?
Those that answered no to these can feel free to doubt their own sanity for it is the heartless who are closer to the neurosis than the rest of us.

She should be seeing a mental health professional on a daily basis and arranging for new management - from finances, business and "artistic" career to image, styling and media/PR. All of those elements have to be sharp and functioning well before she has any chance of being in her children's lives. I'm not at all convinced she really wants to be a mother, but even if it's just for show and on a limited basis, she should bite the bullet and make the effort. While that doesn't necessarily help her kids, it doesn't harm them, which is all she's done for quite a while. At this point, the best she can probably force herself to do is just not harm her kids. Maybe some day, she'll find it in herself to sacrifice more of her self-interest and actually be a benefit to her kids. For now, is she will just stop hurting them and assume some level of normal, I consider that near miraculous.

The new driver and bodyguard work for daddy. They are being paid NOT to take any shite from Shiteney. They have their orders. I've absolutely adored Britney since she first appeared in 1998. It's devastating to see what Britney is going through. She needs support and someone to talk to, who hasn't got a hidden agenda. (eg. Sam Lufti & Adnan) This is a woman who's life is being constantly attacked and picked apart for every stuff up she makes! Don't you think it's time to give the girl some space, so she can get it together and decide what she wants to do with her life, before it goes too far???
