We still can't believe Amy Winehouse lost Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards to Herbie Fucking Hancock.
What a joke!
Our Wino was robbed, damnit. But, she was the night's big winner.
Amy was the talk of Los Angeles at all the Grammy after-parties.
We had a lot of fun at the Warner Bros partee downtown and a good time as well at the Entertainment Weekly / Island Def Jam soiree in West Hollywood.
Along the way, we ran into some of our favorite ladies.

It's truly amusing when you demonstrate your level of ignorance now and then- tho not nearly as amusing as watching Barbara Walters own your ass and uncover you for what you are- that weird big-headed kid in high school drama club who never could find his own niche, thus lived thru the lives of those around him; Oh look- yay! Amy won what she deserved. Herbie Hancock is a Jazz icon and has been instrumental in many other musicians successful careers. He was long overdue for recognition. Amy will (or maybe will not) have her day.
Amy Winehouse an ok singer but in reality is nothing but a drugged up drunk. Herbie Hancock has paid more dues and contributed more to the music industry and more to music than Amy Winehouse will ever contribute to anything with exception of the drug and booze industry.
As much as I love Amy Winehouse i do love Herbie Hancock, he is the man. So a little respect for the legend that he is.
Herbie Hancock is a genius and for you to disagree with him wiining album of the year just show how ignorant and uncouth you are. I'm a fan of Amy as well but Herbie deserves that recognition. A lot of singers, which you probably know, like Christina Aguilera, were so honored to work with Herbie Hancock. Broaden your horizon. Learn more about Jazz which is the only type of music that actually has it's origin in U.S.A.

Wow what an ignorant comment. Herbie Hancock is a legend, he earned that award! Amy is amazing, but (as long as she sorts herself out) she has a long career ahead of her. Herbie has paid his dues, been in the industry for decades and is still a real monster of a musician.
