TINA TURNER was the bomb last night. Beyonce had no business being on stage with her, next to Tina she looked and sounded like a American Idol reject. At 67 Tina was better than any of them. And Kayne West deserved a slap in the face with his trophy…what an arrogant ass. Fergie sounded good too.

I didnt see the list of nominees, but was Timbaland up for any? Cause he really should have been. Shock value is slightly better than graduation, even though that too is an amazing album.
Well done to Amy though, and she looked alright too.

How could AMY Winehouse win 5 grammys that's just so obviously arranged. She DIDN'T deserve to win for new artist nor pop vocal album. THE GRAMMYS SUCK!!!

  21. LiverpoolRocks says – reply to this

    121

I am happy Amy won so much, but I'm very disappointed in her performance. She was off key and just off. Getting clean and trying to perform has to be tough, so I give her credit there. I'll chalk it up to a bad day, as I've heard her sing live before and she was great.

  22. mili says – reply to this

    122

I think these guys from the comittee just go for the most popular artists, they don't give much for real talent just for how famous a singer or a band is and that's it. The Grammy Comittee SUCKS!!!

Are some of you people THAT naive that you think Amy Winehouse is the first artist to struggle with a drug problem? OH NOES! She does drugs, she's not a good role model, blah blah! So what? Learn some history of popular music…Jimi Hendrix was a guitar GOD and he was a junkie…Janis Joplin was amazing and she was a junkie. Billie Holliday was a raging heroin addict and she was one of the most spectacular jazz singers to ever exist. The list goes on, if you get your head out of your asses and stop listening to bubblegum pre-packaged pop shite like Britney and Miley and Rihanna. I'm glad to see Amy finally getting some help and I hope she can stick with her program and remain clean when it's all said and done.

There have been musicians through out time who were amazing talents with drugs problems. Some of them have been able to kick the habit and get clean and are still with us…some of them died because of their addictions. Let's just hope Amy is with us for years to come, because she truly IS a good song writer and she's got a lovely unusual sound to her voice that makes her stand out from the no-talent bimbo pop-stars out there now.

Most of the time you think you're first and you're not. Because this fucking site blows and takes 20 minutes for comments to register. So give it up you fucking seventh graders. Get back to taking your slutty Facebook and Myspace self portraits.

And for those of you discussing politics on PEREZHILTON.COM, you make my day! I get my complete day's worth of humor just from watching your dumbasses try to spell Barack Obama. I'm sure most of you couldn't even name the past three vice presidents.

Please die. And take Miley Cyrus with you.

Well, well! I see that AMY CRACKhouse won tonight. This drug addicted revolving door rehab loving addict seemed to have captured the imagingation of these so-called voters in the academy.
My thing is that they give Britney Spears a hard time with her "little problems" and throw the book at her and then act two-faced hypocritical and turn around and REWARD this CRACKHOUSE with awards and fall all over her with love. My husband got VERY turned off at the ceremony and clicked the remote to something else. This is SO despicable and sickning and pathetic!

We are not Amy Crackhouse lovers and supporters at all. Do not listen to her music nor do we buy her music. We are sane and sound people!!

Just goes to show the world how sick and sad alot of people are with their entertainers! Support one but crucify the others!!

    How sick, how sad………………………….

YAY TO CARRIE UNDERWOOD!! That girl seriously has had an AMAZING 2 years. She has cleaned up and her award case back home must be full by now. Good lord. Yay to Justin Timberlake, Keith Urban, Michael Buble and Brad Paisley too. I am happy for all the people who keep their noses clean and do what the do best and make music. Yes Keith Urban went ot rehab like 2 years ago again but you don't hear about him being cracked out on the front page of a magazine and you don't see Carrie underwood drunk and showing her crotch!! Thank God there is at least a few ppl left in hollywood that are considered good role models. I have a four year daughter that idolizes Carrie Underwood! I do not have a problem what so ever with that. I think Carrie is a fantastic role model

  64. watching the grammys says – reply to this

    164

So just watching the Grammy's now. Kanya's dedication to his Ma was touching, but WTF was the Fergie thing, it's such a thin line between that girl looking fantastic and looking as rough as a badgers bum, she looked rough, hair - a mess, Lips, looked like they had so much collagen in they might explode-she gave Pete Burns a run for his money, She looked like her dodgey hair was being held on with a fetching elastic band under her chin, and her dress- well this girl is slim, she exercises and looks after herself, but that dress made her look bumpy and wasn't at all flattering, give her her dues, she was live - it was obvious as she was out of tune, but other than that? perfect lol… sweet baby jesus just seen beyonce, that hair is a bad colour!!!!

  66. Dreamcatcher says – reply to this

    166

I really enjoyed the Grammys this year. I must say the Herbie Hancock win for Best Album was shocking to me, but I don't listen to a lot of jazz. Amy deserved her wins, I think. The Grammys are presented to award excellence in music, not in your private life. She had an amazing year professionally, and she deserved the recognition she received.

  67. Keli says – reply to this

    167

I am going to play the devil's advocate and say that I think Amy Winehouse is overrated. She's not horrible, but I don't think her music is worthy of 5 Grammys. Not to mention, she is an absolutely horrible role model. She needs to get clean for the sake of her (younger) fans and her career. One question I have, though…is she really a "new" artist? She had an album back in 2003. When I think "new" artist, I think of it as they literally are just starting out in the biz.

How about the sweet and talented Taylor Swift being robbed of her best new artist Grammy by the fucked up trashy whore Amy Winehouse.

Amy JunkieHouse does not deserve her awards. She's a one hit wonder - watch you'll see. Don't buy the hype - it's all PR dreck. She's a loser not a winner.

Since you all clearly know how to navigate the internet, you should look up Herbie Hancock. He has been around, making brilliant music respected by real musicians since before most of us were born.
Before you curse out artists like he and Chaka, for "robbing" new artists on the block, do your research.
The truth is, they deserve the wins more than Amy Winehouse or Rihanna, etc. It's just not expected. bUT it's a good thing.
The artist Joni Mitchell who was tributed on Herbie's album of the year influenced many of the real artists of today.
    Have some respect.
ANd Amy is cool, but 5 Grammys = the hype factor. I think 1-2 would have been more apropos. Maybe best new artist and song of the year. The whole album? Nope. Feist? She's alright, but IMO she's the 1-hit wonder.
