The Baby Scandal: Done In April (Hopefully)
Madonna's raising money for Malawi, but she's got bigger things to worry about.
The pop star's adoption of little David Banda is still not finalized.
The Malawian government has been accused of turning a blind eye to the law. It is technically 'illegal' for non-residents to adopt in Malawi.
Her Madgesty is due to appear before a Malawi court in April for a final hearing on little David's adoption.
In her defense, a Malawian government official has spoken out in support of Madonna's adoption of baby Banda.
A Malawian minister told Reuters, "It will be wrong for Malawi to even dare deny this wonderful woman all the rights to be a parent of David and many more Malawian children."
How much did she pay him to say that????

I love ,love this woman , she inspires me so much to be a better person
I love you Madonna : )
Re: hayden – fuck !!!! lol what happened to your childhood ????
must be a lot of abuse and rape , you are pretty sad, wow Perez got tons of trolls posting here
Re: alicia –
Alicia get the facts straight before you give ADVICE.
Madonna has donated millions to Malawai and has built a hospital there to help the orphans stricken with HIV. She also held a benefit for them here in NYC last week and raised MILLIONS more.
Who cares what Madonna does. She only adopted this kid for publicity purposes only. Perez, she is NO ANGEL at all. She is a deceptive person out who only does things for herself and her image. Her main purpose is to make money. Do you really think she cares about this kid. I sense a "Mommy Dearest" book in about 30 years.
I don't care whether Madonna is an angel or not, I think what she is doing for Malawi is freakin' awesome. I say this because I'm half African, and that part of me is from Malawi. Considering it's not a well-known country, her getting some of it's needs out there helps. Adoption is actually hard to go through, but regardless, she's trying. So whether or not it's a publicity stunt, it gives Malawi some hope so there will be more benefits, for more schools and hospitals.
