The Grammys aren't a morality award-they're about who made the best music in the past year. Also, Natalie Cole is a terrible singer/performer so she can stick it where the sun don't shine on both counts.
Hoochie is just mad because a caucasian won all of the awards. Bitch got her weave up her ass. She obviously would have prefered if Kanye would have won all of those awards. She said worse shit on an interview with Fox news. She said that a drug addict and alcoholic does not deserve those awards. She said that was the worst part of the night for her. But the best was Kanye's performance. Jealous much.
She's talented DESPITE her addiction and besides, how many artists use and abuse?? It could be perceived that way but I certainly don't see it that way. An artist private life has nothing to do with their career. She did work hard on her album and I believe she does deserve the awards she got. Her songs are awsome and even though she put on some very bad live perfomances this year she is trying to get better and you could definatly see that last night, I think she deserves credit for that. I think Natalie Cole is speaking a bit out of her element here. The fact that Amy got these nominations and ultimately won a majority of them speaks highly of her talent as a musician. The Grammy Awards is about awarding the most talented musicians and hopefully Amy will be able to continue to thrive and get better because of her recent accomplishments.

To me now the MTV music awards are better than a stupid Grammy! Whomever chooses the nominees and winners must be living in a box, or out of touch with reality. Only awards i agreed with was 1 of the ones for kanye and the one for Common. The grammys have snubbed MANY people, but they put their "stamp of approval" on someone who had a shitty tour record, always in the news for drugs…What message does that send to kids or to the real hard working musicians. We do not buy music based on the problems singers have in their personal life…God knows they all have been messed up one time or another. Amy Winehouse has a beautiful voice, reminiscent of Billie Holiday..she is uniquely talented. It is a shame she has a drug problem but that does not deter me from buying her music..her voice is wonderful and that is what I am paying for not her private problems.
