She hasn't seen her kids since January 3rd…..so this is the next best thing!
Britney Spears spent Monday teaching dance to children at her favorite haunt, the Millennium Dance Complex in the Valley.
According to Millennium co-owner Robert Baker, a happy and upbeat Brit Brit came in and shook each 5 year-olds hand. There were seven kids in total, and she told them, "I guess I have to introduce myself to you guys!"
Hopefully they didn't know who she was!
The music playlist for the kids included Madonna's Material Girl and True Blue.

Publicity seeking co-owner Baker continued, “She worked out this great little routine for them, they were dancing all over the place, she had them dancing in a circle like a choo-choo train. The kids loved it. They are having a ball right now. And Britney, she’s just drinking it up. She’s totally enjoying herself. It’s an amazing class. She and the kids are certainly enjoying the process.”
Seems like we found a new publicist for Spears!
Baker added, “Britney’s telling me that she likes this so much that she’s thinking about making it a regular thing, possibly every other week. She loves to interact with the kids, and she feels that it’s important to give back to the dance community."
You think they'd let Perezzers sign up for a class with Britney if he dressed like a 5 year-old????

I think that this is good for her- help her to feel appreciated, wanted, etc… anyone who knows or has been around kids knows that they give their affection freely and without any "strings" attached and since Brit is missing out on seeing her own kids at the moment, I think that this could be very healing and therapeutic for her… wishing her and the kids all the best! baby steps…

I wouldnt leave my child alone with her but I would let her teach my child in a dance class, only if she didnt dress like that! Hopefully she toned it down for the kids. I think its good for her to do this, she needs to do something she feels good about and surround herself with good people. It keeps her busy too, the less free hours in her day the less time she has to get into trouble!
Any of you morons who said "yes" to this should be sued for child abuse and checked out at your own mental health clinic.

Good for her. I hope she does keep going and teaching. She can really relate to these kids (from her time with "the mouse"). Probably the best therapy she's had so far. A way of working out some issues from her mouseketeer years-good and bad-I hope it helps her in a way she needs, where she is slowly regaining some control for herself, by herself, instead of being forced into something that would cause her to rebel.

I think this is a good idea. Seriously. A lot of parents like to sit and watch the kids practice, so someone will step in if the Britster goes coo-coo for cocoa puffs. She is–or was, at least–a great dancer, so she has a lot to teach the kids. And hey, she's given herself a goal, and added something to her life that gives her a regular schedule–that's great! Maybe she'll be less inclined to drive all over California, hitting every Rite Aid, if she has more to do.

Haven't any of you that come on here and comment about how much of a skank Brit is figured out that she does it on purpose???!! Don't you guys know that she reads these comments on here and on all of the other sites. She knows what everyone is saying about her attire and it is typical of her now days to do exactly the opposite of what everyone would like her to do! You know what! If thats part of what it takes to get her back on track and theres another adult there and both her and the kids are having fun then why on earth not! Good on you Ms Britney!! I'm sooo proud of her, I know she's not saving starving children or anything but it's good to hear that Britney is doing something for someone else instead of herself. The coolest thing is, we all know how good smoking is for your voice and dance breathing. I'm so proud of her. She's giving it her all. On another note, as a long time mother; i see nothing maternal about her. Can she make food , crafts, read, play, go to the park, swimming lessons, ahhh, no. (even famous stars and rich do these things.) But she can drive and buy. Somehow I just don't see her tucking the kiddos in at nite and sitting by the fire, just in case they wake up or have a bad dream. Oh right. They are living the bad dream. Damn.
