not bad, besides after it heavily rotated, it's gonna be 1 of those mariah carey song u really dont like but wind up singing anyway, then u start to think u like it!!!

Dumb I know but it's growing on me. For me, the song is decent and gets better the more you listen to it. It was obviously chosen for the first single because it is very radio friendly. It sounds like other music out there with the only differnce being that Mariah is actually singing. It's not the work of studio enhancements. I just can't wait for her to belt it out on her new album. I wish she was a little more soulful and that she sang more on her albums the way she sings live. I think I've heard it 10 times so far and it's a really great chill song. =) I'm starting to get very very excited. YAY MARIAH!!!!

All the negative reviews seem to say the same thing: this song is boring. In response to that, this song is midtempo, so of course it's not a blazing dance track. Also, it's not a huge Mariah ballad with a soaring vocal climax. But boring? It's not boring at all! This song has lots of humor and a playful, sexy vibe. It brings me back to "Honey" and some of Mariah's older hits, but it has a really fresh sound. Give this song a chance! Don't scrutinize, just listen. And GET EXCITED FOR THE ALBUM! I know Mariah has lots more in store.
So I've waited so long for this song. Mariah, this should not have been your first single at all. It should've been an unreleased track that you may find when you end up doing the 2nd release with bonus of "That Chick". You're video better be hot, because the single did nothing for me.

I have to disagree with the negative comments….Touch my Body, is a great song for Mariah to jump start the E=MC(2) album. It's catchy and makes you want to move…I sure there are some wild tracks on this album but..from a sales standpoint..if the artist already has a fanbase you don't need to lead with your more powerful singles…keep in mind L.A. Reid said that like 4 or 5 singles where going to be released from this album…the strong songs are usually the even numbered singles….but regardless… I have listened to the song 12 times now and it is catchy as hell.
