I like Sugababes, especially there earlier, edgier stuff. At the moment, they're last two songs have sucked. About You Now was AMAZING, but those other two tracks…are so, boring? I like them though, they don't really appeal to me though. Just a bit, Meh. Oh and yeah, No they haven't outsold Girls Aloud LOL! But yeah, everyime I buy a Sugababes album and give it a go, it sucks! BIG TIME! Girls Aloud are critically acclaimed, more so than Sugababes. Serious journolists (other than Heat Magazine) have said AMAZING things about Girls Aloud. (Especially about their 'Tangled Up' and 'What Will The Neighbours Say?' albums…)…PEREZ…YOUR A TOTAL BITCH AND I HATE YOU LOL BUT YOU HAVE GREAT TASTE IN MUSIC

What the fuck are you talking about? Girls aloud have sold many more albums than sugababes even though the sugababes have been around double the time girls aloud have. The sugababes may write some of there own music, but so have girls aloud, and although they may not write a lot of it, they have accepted themselves in interviews that Xenomania do what they do best; produce songs for them and the girls do what they do best; sing, dance and look good. And your saying sugababes are more critically acclaimed?? jesus christ have you read the reviews for girls alouds albums?? Obviously not as there getting like 5 out of 5 star reviews from magazines and news papers such as NME, the times, the guardian etc who hardly ever even give pop music a look in. Girls aloud are amazing and have done so well for themselves its unreal. I wish them the best of luck and may they have a long reign over the british charts because at the moment there some of the only decent british pop music left. perez, what's with all the haters??? makes no sense. i'm a straight guy, who thinks they're f*cken hot…okay, so their songs may not be the most original, but they have had a successful track record in the uk and the rest of europe.
i'm from canada, and i love how so many american posters automatically catergorize anything new or different as 'that foreign shit'…seriously folks, open up your minds. while a lot of the music on the canadian airwaves is in fact american, it has started to change a lot in recent years…we're starting to more brit and aussie acts release their albums in canada before the usa, delta goodrem, wolfmother, girls aloud, robbie williams, arctic monkeys, orsen, lily allen, eskimo joe, sneaky sound system, sugababes, leona lewis, et cetera, et cetera.
so where am i going with this post? not too sure…i guess if anything, i think that people should be open to checking out new and different stuff. how lame did that sound? but seriously folks - there is some great stuff beyond your border. are you really enjoying the stuff that's been coming out of the usa lately?

for those that are feeling really adventerous in their quests to find new tunes, you've gotta check out all the crazy eastern european tunes on youtube…a lot of the singers/bands are beginning to sing in english, with the hopes of making it big in the uk…a lot of it is laughable, but fun all the same.
OK So GA is a good group, but come on will people still be talking about them in 10 years? If you pass them on the street would you recognize them..probably not. How come they are a group, but it only sounds like one of them is singing? The Spice Girls are WORLD WIDE superstars..love them or hate them you can't deny that everybody in the wold knows who they are..if it wasn't for sites like this people would never have heard of bands like Girls Aloud….and I don't think much would be sad about that.

I've seen them live 4 times and a 5th this year (as mentioned before, they're doing the biggest pop tour this year) and they really can sing live. Moreso than other members. Nadine has got an amazing voice and is wedged up there with the greatest vocalists of our time (IMO, That is… Leona Lewis, Beyonce Knowles, Amy Winehouse…) She might not be becasue she's in a band but shes auditoned twice to be apart of a band so thats obviously where her intrests lie. Seriously, this song isn't exactly vocally challenging, but if you youtube them singing Life Got Cold live on their What Will The Neighbours Say? live tour, you will see they really CAN sing!

Girls Aloud have always been a fav of mine. It's a shame that they have so much talent. The only way for them to get noticed over here is to plan a publicity stunt at The Ivy, get DUIs, date Hollyweird's short men, get preggo, then not be preggo, act crazy, go to the UCLA Crazy Resort, become BFFs with Britney and after all of that, go to Rehab for 29 minutes and be cured. I'm from the States and I love Girls Aloud. I'm tired of people assuming that they couldn't make it here on the charts. They haven't even been given a chance to do it yet. And I have to admit that the American charts are bombarded with R&B and rap (where everyone sounds the same/can't tell one artist from another), but so are the UK charts. And as long as people continue to buy into that crap, it will stay that way. Every genre of music has its time. Hopefully we will see more original music (where people actuallly write their own songs and play their own instruments) dominate the charts on both sides of the pond.
