We are loving the new Brit Brit, and we're especially loving her new security detail and assistant.
Spears has been relatively calm lately, and that's a good thing. Her new meds must be kickin' in!
Britney and posse did a little shopping in LA on Friday at the Fred Seagal store. Thankfully the late nights and aimless driving around town seem to be done.
The bad influences are gone from her life!
And, speaking of bad influences, the Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed that they are looking into allegations that Brit's former "manager" Osama Lutfi drugged her.
Homie better stay in hiding. Shit's about to go down for him!

I wouldnt doubt shes been drugged and taken advantage of, but seriousley, shes still NUTS.
Bitch knows she has no choice but to be good if she wants to get control of her estate again. After that, she'll be back to her old ways.
It's so great that she's doing better. I hope that 2008 brings her happiness, health and peace. Congrats to Brit for trying to make a positive change in her life.

I probably should not be admitting this but I have been "addicted" to the Britney saga for the last year….. maybe it is my innerself acting out but who really knows…. anyways…. I am so glad to see that she is getting her life on track. As a mother there is truly nothing more important than your kids and it hurts me to see her not around hers. I think she has made some very wrong decisions in the past 12 months but hopefully will learn from those mistakes and start acting responsibly and mature. SAVE BRITNEY!!!

She looks a lot calmer and lot better than she did. It's not even close to 100%, but she's moving in the right direction.

If she seems calmer, could it be that some unneeded meds were eliminated, rather than that 'her new meds must be kickin' in', as Perez states? Whatever it is, she's not spinning like a panicked top doing lord knows what. She looks almost, well, like she's acting kind of normal as she's out and about. Appearances are deceiving, however, and I simply hope that not living that three ringed circus for a while will allow her to grab the breather she needs, and get her ample time to think. She needs room to be able to experience and enjoy life at a calmer and protected level, and experience a more controllable, dignified and rational way to live for a performer at her level. Best Wishes to her and her beleaguered family, who have stepped up for her in a big way.
She does deserve her kids and I have every faith in her that she will get them back!!!

She look's calm, yes. but she should start wearing makeup & doing something different with her 'new' hair. Then she would look awesome, she just needs to use some of that money of hers & hire some people to do her makeup, hair & wardrobe.
She's looking so much healthier these days. The hair is a definite improvement and her skin has cleared up. I hope she continues on this trend and not just physically, but emotionally/mentally as well. She has a lot of crud to dig through before she's back on top. I wish her the best & much success!

The only difference between Britney and Whitney (Houston) is that when Whitney got hooked on drugs she had some class and she chose to stay out of the public eye. Except for the few times that she got busted at the ariport for having marijuana on her she really did keep herself at home and out of public view. She knew she was in no shape to be flashing her jacked up person to the world. Britney got involved with the drugs lifestyle and still tried to maintain a public lifestyle and she made herself look really bad becasue of it. Im not saying that Sam didn't drug her as well and that would explain why she was SOOOOO jacked up, she was probably on god only knows how many different drugs at one time. Its a wonder she is still alive, IM surprised that she hasn't dropped dead. Her heart should of stopped by now. You can tell now that Sam (HER CONNECTION) is out of the pictuer she doesn't have access to the drugs anymore. ( I know Sam got her hooked on Meth and that is why they used to run to hotels at all hours of the night like 2-3 times a night.)
cont….I think that it finally hit Britney like a ton of bricks on her last stay at the psych ward how bad she had let things get and she knew that she had no choice but to get her shit together somewhat cuz she was having those conversations with somone on the phone (prob. her lawyer)about "yeah, well no one is taking my house!" and so on about her personal property, I think that she finally started to realize that it was critical and that she may just "LOSE EVERYTHING". I think that really gave her a jolt. It is sad to say that losing her children never did that to her, only her possessions. She knows that she is finally at a point where she can't fuck around anymore and just keep being a screw up, its not funny anymore. No more late nights running around all over LA doing useless aimless errands. She realizes that her parents mean bussiness and that they WILL take control of her and everything she has if she doesn't knock it off. I am almost willing to put money on it that Britney gets her shit together and keeps it that way from now on. Cuz I think that Jamie really socked it to her this last time and told her that she was "this close to losing everything" No more games. She has to get serious about shit whether she likes it or not. You know, I'm into celebrity gossip just as much as the next person. But what I don't get is why on sites like this (and others) why there are SO MANY negative comments. I never give negative feedback, because I wouldn't appreciate it if someone did the same to me. So I'm wondering, what does that say about today's society? Are we truly this cruel and heartless? I'd like to know what makes everyone making these harsh remarks so "perfect"? Imagine if your life was cut open and spread out on every magazine and website across the nation (the world even), how would you measure up? And does it all even really matter? The majority of you are probably adults living a normal life like the rest of us, so GROW UP and act your age. And the saying is still true: "If you have nothing nice to say, then shut the hell up!"
Ok my opinion is that the only thing Britney is suffering from is from being spoilt rotten as a child. She has never had to take responsibility for her own actions or answer to everyone, and has been let to do whatever she wants.
Now her family is finally seeing what a mistake they had made, and trying to fix their mistakes, she is feeling like her rights are being compromised. What Crap. It like the little boy who cried wolf, she ran around doing whatever the hell she please, blowing all her money whatever on her down and out hangers-on. She didnt care who she endangered in the process - the public, and even her own beautiful boys. As long as Britney was happy then the world was wonderful.
She took drugs, whored her ass around and drank way before the Arab Mafia were on the scene. And they just saw an opportunity and went for it.
I give cudos to her father, he is doing what he thinks is right and I think the law should come down on whoever was around her before this final breakdown. Also the judge in the Superior Court can see exactly whats been going down.

Britney is no longer aimlessly driving around town and staying in hotels because her tyrannical "friend/manager", Sam Lutfi was forced to move out of her home. When he lived there she would often find excuses to avoid gong home and put herself in the middle of a gaggle of paparazzi in order to feel secure. It's truly evil the way this guy turned her life around and tried to strip her of everything she knew and loved. He is the one who told her that her mother slept with K. Fed. He is uber evil. Unfortunately he stole many items when he moved out while Britney was in the hospital, but thankfully she no longer has to avoid her home.
