Nice enough to me and my friend whom were working for a CD store trying to sell the band's new/unheard of CD but he was incredibly SHORT- as in height and reminded me of a small annoying yapping dog. He also tried to get my friend to screw him on the band's tour bus, which she profusely refused after telling him that she had no desire to contract an STD…..
Some people have to be hitten with more than a mike. Noone likes to be grabbed at their special parts by strangers. To be inbetween a crowd does not mean everyone has the right to touch every part of you.
It's his job and he works his cute a.s off for his fans (and for himself of course) but some "fans" act as morons, I've seen it by myself, they touch him everywhere - that IS se.xual harassment - if you do that on yr job - you're fired within secs.

Nobody has been saying anything about anyone having been hurt by Jared's mic on the UK tour, so it's not certain whether anyone got hit by the mic at all!
He does looks like he's thrashing somebody with it, but it could've been just a warning signal to some crazy over-hyped girl who was trying to grab his nuts and believe me, some of the 30 Seconds to Mars fans ARE fucking obsessive and nuts! I've met Jared a couple of times after shows in the US and he's really nice to fans normally. I've never known any fans who have had a shitty experience with Jared or the other guys, but some of the other bands on the Taste of Chaos US tour last year definitely had some negative things to say about the band….

Anytime someone is that good looking and extremely talented, there's always going to be jealous haters ragging on him and saying he "sucks" and is a "poser" and "can't sing". Jared rules in my book. I do want to say that although that looks a little intense I use to go to a loooot of 30 shows and 30 seconds to mars and especially jared leto are incredible to their fans… theyre completely devoted to them in a way that most bands aren't (and i'm not saying that they need to or should be) but I guess everyone has their days and gets frustrated…. also, you have to understand, that he's trying to be nice and do his thing but i've seen what they do, and i dunno about you but if someone were grabbing my junk, pulling my hair and trying to rip peices of clothing off, eventually i'd get frustrated too.

I like 30 Seconds to Mars, I've listen to their music for a long time before even thinking about Jared and if he was hot or not.
I was in their concert, in Lisbon, on friday and it was a great concert, he has a great presence and is very intense on stage, he crowsurfed twice and seemed really happy for being there and showed a lot of love for the portuguese fans of the band
He's not perfect, noone is, maybe he didin't react as he should but that's life, everyone makes mistakes and apparently noone got hurt.
Obviously he's not going to appeal to everyone, there will always be those who love him and those who hate him. Personally, when I don't like a band or a specific person I don't listen to it or care about that person or what he/she does.
Sometimes he seems really great and very devoted and sometimes he seems a bit of an idiot, I think that's perfectly normal, I know that I'm not always happy and bubbly.
You can say lots a things about Jared, but don't say he can't sing and can't be on stage because he can and I've seen some of his movies and he can act too
