Doing It For Heath

Director Terry Gilliam has been faced with the difficult situation of finishing his film, The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, which will be Heath Ledger's last movie, without him.
And, now, it seems that a solution has been reached that will allow the pic to be completed without its lead star.
Ledger's character steps through a mirror three different times and into different worlds. So three different actors will now inhabit his character's body in those segments of the film.
Those thesps are: Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell.
We think Heath would approve!

that's a great idea! it already sounded like an interesting movie, this will just make it even moreso.
That almost made me cry, I'm so going to see that movie!
Probably would not have even looked twice at this movie until I saw Jude’s name on it…he’ll get me there every time…and more than once, too. But I love that Depp is in it, and am not even pissed Farrell is in it. I think this makes it very intriguing, actually.

I am going to LOVE that film, it is going to be amazing and it will be a great tribute to Heath.
What I HATE most of all, is Heath's death, a profound tragedy, is now being reduced to the shorthand of a "drug overdose" with all that that implies. Heath was NOT a junkie or a drug addict. The dosage levels of all the pills in his system, all of them prescriptions, were normal levels. If he was addicted, he would have needed higher levels of the drugs.
These drugs accumulate in your system. The speculation is that he took his meds twice in a 24 hour period, the combination proved fatal. One of the effects of those drugs is to relax your muscles, and they slow down your breathing…or stop it. It really was an accident. He would be so touched. He loved and admired Johnny Depp. I bet Colin Farrell was shaken when this happened. It could have been him. I hope he stays clean, now. Jude liked Heath. I'm glad they are all involved.

I am SO glad for Gilliam — he really deserves the support. And this is excellent for Heath's memory, too… Having Johnny Depp in the film is superb!!… although I do agree with the others here who balk at the idea of Sienna Miller's slimy ex being a part of the picture, (he'll get good pr out of it, anyway). As for Farrell, it seems that being a daddy to a special needs son may be changing him for the better both as a person and as an actor.

It's sad that he's more popular now that he's dead then alive!! He had enormous talent and potential, but he wasn't payed much attention too b/c he didn' live a glamorous life and he didn't go to all the Hollywood hotspots to get his photo taken.
